I think its messed up how people are interested in her solely because of her hair and now shes locing, you're using that as an excuse to start to censor her so to speak.


Her drama is her drama but dont break a contract and say its because of her hair and call the woman a demon. She was good enough for you before drama and all, and now shes tainted goods.


smh. I never followed her but her story is all over the web.

She did state in her locg video something like she felt it was all about "that" hair and not her and wanted to break from it.

Oddly, I'm with Taren this time. They were wrong for cancelling her. At least say in the contract we want your hair a particular way. Don't switch up after you see my hair and then cancel me from an event where I'm speaking.

But taren herself said she won't be using any products in her hair...no point in faking the funk or promoting a brand that she doesn't use herself. 99% of natural hair products out there are not suitable for long term health/care of locs.

Yeah, it really could have been a problem with the sponsors that the organizers may potentially have a speaker steering attendees away from products all together.

I was just reading the requirements in her contract. Regardless if she talks about her past journey or not it doesn't fulfill their requirements of what that ONE thing they want her to do which includes talking about a particular product and how she utilizes it in her hair. She just told us that she will no longer be using products. That's not that particular vendors fault.

They also probably should have cancelled with her over the phone and then sent a follow up cancelling the contract "for reasons previously discussed." But you live and you learn.

Yeah the vitriol was unecessary which made it seem like something deeper than what it really is. That's where they went wrong. Now it's personal.

I went to this event last year. Every vendor has different stipulations. I did not read every single piece of info related to this fiasco but was she also chosen to be on panel to speak about entrepreneurial endeavors? If so how? What does she own or operate?

I'm laughing that someone called her a demon for this issue. So scamming and sleeping with another woman's husband, not taking care of her kids, and all the other crap that's surfaced about her wasn't bad enough, but rightfully asserting oneself warrants being called a demon? Maybe they had in mind all the things she's done before. Either way, bye sis to whoever said that. I don't like Taren but I'm with her on this one. Everything about this is highly unprofessional.

I think her new persona is hilarious. Her latest video popped on my recommendations yesterday. I had not watched any of her videos since her latest scandal. She is now on a spiritual journey and has found Jesus. She even adds "love and light" at the end of her posts . Hilarious. It's too bad that some people look up to her shady a$$.
