Oprah comes on at 9am in Chicago and at the end of your show she answered questions from facebook friends and someone said Oprah I love your weave and she said it's not a weave and she showed the before pic of when she gets her hair pressed....she has so much hair I couldn't believe it..She should be on LHCF giving us tips...I always thought she wore a weave or wig...but it's all her hair...watch her show today....
 
Wow....I thought so too! it is pretty though. I noticed the other day in a promo she had it straight. It was kind of weird seeing her with straight hair since she's always rocking curly styles. Do you know if Andre still does her hair?
 
If you see some of the pics from when she was younger her natural hair was very thick and beyond shoulder length.
 
Thanks for sharing. I do love Oprah's hair. She has healthy strong hair, which is hereditary and it doesn't hurt having a stylist on hand. Andre'. Her hair looks especially nice when its straight, but I know that can be harsh straightening too often. I'll check it out.

Honey 90% of LHCF had very thick natural SL/APL hair as kids...LOL

I guess I'll be watching Oprah today so I can see this gloriousness...
 
Her hair looks fantastic. It grew in nicely while she was wearing 1/2 wigs for all those years...seems like she's been on a wig challenge of her own. Hope I have similar results.
 
So that straight look she is wearing now is all hers? I can believe that. It's pretty but not that long. However, that big curly look that she was wearing for a while wasn't hers I don't think.
 
Shoot! She's the billionaire Oprah, she betta have some nice hair!

Her new straight look is so glorious, and now that you say it's all hers, it looks even prettier. I much prefer the dark, staright hair on her than teh light curly look.
 
She's always had beautiful hair. She's been seen on the show several times sporting her long thick pony. I love her hair.
 
I think she has worn weaves before. But I know that she has a head full of long thick hair that she gets done daily.
 
Yeah her hair didn't look that look pressed...but i think it's because how they styled it and curled it...when I curl my hair it looks much shorter..but when they showed the picture of her hair blown out it looked super long and big...I wonder if she will wear it natural for a day without pressing it.....I know she wears cornrows sometimes...
 
I wish Oprah would rock her natural un-messed around with hair once on a show. I wonder what the headlines and the ratings would be like.
 
I will check her out today! I have always known she had a head full of thick hair underneath those half wigs she usually wears! I thought the recent straight hair was a wig too!! :look: Thanks for setting the record straight.
 
She has worn a curly weave for over a year or so(maybe two)... She then took it out and has been wearing her real hair straight for the last few weeks/months...Her hair was long/healthy to begin with. However, she wore the weave to grow it out even more....

I think the curly look she was wearing was a half wig or something. I knew she always had really nice hair.

If she does a baby momma show I'll :thud: :lol:
 
I tuned into her show Wednesday afternoon and you can tell that it's all hers by looking at it...at least I could. It looks nice and healthy. :yep:
 
I beleive it's all hers, I'm a weave-detective, ITA she prob grew it out with half wigs and stuff, if she curls it now it will be shoulder or just above shoulder length curls, I doubt she'll wear it natural on her show anytime soon maybe later when she's almost done with the show, she and the network do not know how America will react to Oprah in a fro
 
Oprah Definitely wears weaves...
But I'm sure that the particular episode she happened to be wearing her real hair but she definitely has different lengths in some shows so im sure it isnt her real hair all the time.

I mean, I recognized that LS was throwing out an estimate, but my question had more to do with me thinking that most LHCFers didn't have long hair as children.
 
Sorry folks, I'm not biting. I know she USED to have flaming hair, but what she is wearing now does not look like it's ALL hers. I'll email her and ask her to post proof pics here. Standy.
