Tameka “Tiny” Harris Gets a Deva Cut to Remove Heat Damaged Natural Hair

Singer, songwriter, reality star, and wife of rapper T.I., Tameka “Tiny” Harris is known for rocking bright weaves and blonde extensions. But for the past few weeks, she’s been weaveless and rocking her curls! She definitely had some heat damage (from keeping the front of her hair straight to blend with the weaves, no doubt), but over all it is nice to see another celebrity doing more than snapping “natural hair selfies” between weave sessions.





While in Los Angeles preparing for an appearance on the Arsenio Hall Show, Tiny took it a step further and visited the famed “Curl Doctor” Shai Amiel at his Capella Salon in Studio City where she got a Deva Cut! She hasn’t unveiled her final look on Instagram yet, but she did share this:

Wow I love her hair! She looks soooo much prettier with her natural hair. Hope she ditches the weaves for a while.

She looks great. They should have went ahead and cut off the rest of the bleached hair. The brown hair looks so thick and healthy.

Her hair looks really cute!! She looks much more attractive with her hair.

I really wish "celebrities" would let the weaves and wigs rest for a while. I wish it would just die in general. There's nothing wrong with our hair, but wearing fake hair day in and day out does not send that message :sad:.

When I first tried to load the page, the pics weren't loading. I was reading all the comments talking about she looks cute and I was thinking to myself that everybody was just being nice because she never looks cute. But I was wrong! She actually looks cute! She really does!

She looks really cute! I hope she keeps this look up. The other day I saw her with what looked like a bantu knot out style and she looked soo cute, it was very flattering and refreshing on her.

Looking good. Maybe she can colour the left-over blond a little darker til she's ready to cut that off too. The dark DOES look so much healthier.

I was worried when I clicked on this thread, some people dont like Deva Cuts but hers looks really nice. And she dont need a BC, not at all.
