Pics finally-my phyto,ntm,mnt & shoulder/armpit challenge chicks!

MonaLisa has finally added two (not too great) pics to my Journey to Armpit folder in my fotki. I now have something to compare to when December 2005 rolls around.

apologies in advance...I'm not a pic taker and I have to get used to this...lol.
I'll try and do better next time!!

Okay...I'm looking for SG and DSD...how much longer u think it's gonna take for armpit?

Very nice Mona!!!! What did you do in that last pic? Looks like a loose bantu knot set or maybe just nice curls. Which one?

When you'll hit armpit.... what rate does your hair grow? I'd say you'll be there by April at the latest. It's looks like you're just 1.5" away.

The growth seems to have slown down of late...but as soon as it gets warm...I think it'll spark up...I would say a 1/4-1/2 inch a month to be on the safe side of judgement.

At the last minute before running out the door...I decided to do some quick pincurls a la Southern Girl...the fellas I was hanging with that night gave me some nice compliments!

I'm sticking by estimate... April. My hair grows @ this same rate, so I think that's a safe estimate.

I'm sticking by estimate... April. My hair grows @ this same rate, so I think that's a safe estimate.

April, ya think?! That would be the bestest birthday present! I'll post again around then, or May...depending on next touch up time...and see if I see any difference.

And I thank Southern Girl for her pincurl instruction...it is a great way to add some body/curl to your hair without heat...I will be rocking this when I wear my hair down...again...sometime...in da spring...lol.

Tai...thanks for the encouraging words! Much appreciated.

Nice...believe me when I say...all that effort and tenacity that my beloved SouthernGirl did...I did not do...but I remembered how she said to twist up the hair and pin it up (and I did it randomly, not detailed sectioning off of hair) and just let it drop down...and that's what I did...about 35-45 minutes before I left the house to go out to dinner. There was really no big thought to it.

Sorry, it wasn't a more detailed experience than that. :ohwell:
