Chaya, I tried the Joico conditioner before I knew anything about good haircare, and I don't remeber having any problems with it. I think I'll try it again.

Hey bree
was this a leave in? how did it make your hair feel?

[/ QUOTE ]

hey ayeshia, i'm a little late with the reply, sorry bout that. redken did not do a darn thing for my hair and worst than that it contains a bad alcohol in it's ingredients. i was expecting to get some banging results with this junk too. but seriously it didnt detangle, didnt condition, didnt smooth my hair or nothing. NOTHINGGGGG.btw it's a conditioner

THE GREATEST HITS OF ALL!!!!:
* Mega Care VItamin E Oil
* Mega Care Olive Oil
* Mega Care Jojoba Oil
* Mega Care Shea Butter Oil
* JOICO Intensive Moisture Treatment Extra Conditioning Moisturizing Conditioner<----
This JOICO Conditioner is the best hands down of all moisturizing conditioners on the market! I have found that this is the best over Deep Brilliance, Keracare, Motions, Redken and Mizani.

Im in love

Re: February Hits and Misses

I went on a PJ bender and bought a ton of new products in Jan and Feb.

Hits:
Skala Fruit Cocktail Conditioner
Silk 2 MoisTec Conditioner
Nacidit Olive Oil Shampoo
ABBA Moisture Scentsation Shampoo
Curve Salon's Curly Buttercreme (I love the way it tingles on my scalp)

Misses
Pressing my own hair.
My aunt sent me her old stove and some hot combs. What a disaster! I did three sections and gave up. I was ripping my hair out with that itty bitty comb. The smoke freaked me out, too. I think I'll stick to blow drying and then flat ironing.

The Jury Is Still Out:
Curve Salon's Curly Pudding. I like how it helped with shrinkage. But I don't like how hard it made my hair. And the tangles I had the next day were unbelievable!
If I can figure out a way to soften up the crunch w/o having greasy hair, I'll repurchase this product.

Straight Request Smooth Feel Q12 Conditioner. Isopropyl alcohol is the 3rd ingredient.
I haven't even had the courage to try it yet...

WOW
I didnt expect such a huge response on the JOICO ya'll! I just had to tell ya'll how great it was because I dont think Ive ever experienced any conditioner like this

Lunalight- Great! Make sure that you let us know where you score your samples from! We love free stuff!

Sithembile- Which JOICO product did you try and like?

Bree- I know it can be expensive in some salons. Sometimes you can find a deal on ebay where I scored my second helping of it. Ive always gotten good deals on hair products on ebay. I bought my fist tube of the JOICO Intensive moisture treatment at Nordstrom Rack and it only cost me around $6.00 for the 5.2 oxz tube.

Joyous- Sorry
! I didnt mean to start a frenzy. Its just that a really good, quality, thick moisturizing conditioner is hard to find!

Jasmin- I tried to find it a spiralhaircase I dont think that I could. I will try metrobeauty and let you all know if I can find it there and for how much.

Leave in and Oil treatments- lots of slip - but a little strong on the nose.

Affirm Positive Link Conditioner

I was skeptical cuz the stuff looks like cream of wheat and has a strong smell. But my hair came out moisturized and feeling strong...and oooh so soft/slip.

Miss-didn't have any

Hits: -The Jilbere Shower Comb (Worked very well for detangling wet hair)
- Doing conditioner washes more than once a week
Misses: Blowdrying instead of using a hooded dryer (This seemed to really dry my hair out, I'm sticking to the hooded dryer from now on.)

I like to pick and choose what I want to spend the most money on! Since I know that I am a product junkie (however UNPROUD that I am of it) I cant spend too much on one item so I look for deals, namely on ebay <--my friend
