FOTKI KILLED MY COMPUTER!

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else on this forum, but my netbook contracted a malware virus when I was on fotki. I was wondering if any other ladies have found a way to remedy this situation? or am i doomed to never view the luscious locks on fotki again!

Well, I know I used to be able to see Fotki at work, but they blocked it. It sucks since I have to wait to see progress pics from members that post pics from their Fotki account. I don't know about it having a virus though. Maybe some other ladies will chime in.

I happened to me two days ago. I am never going on Fotki again. I need to find somebody to remove some files before it damages my computer.

I've read a lot of complaints on here. At first I wasn't concerned, but now my anti-virus software warns me every time I try to go on fotki, so I haven't been on for weeks. I paid for a 3-year subscription and I'm afraid to log on fotki to update my account, so um...yeah, I am upset about this whole virus thing.

i got a fotki warning earlier today when i clicked on a link to someones fotki, but when i typed it in directly i didnt get the warning...i'll be more cautious now though

maybe thats why my computer is acting funky. i never go to fotki but today i clicked on a fotki link and after that my computer wouldnt let me get on the internet at all. i ran a scan twice and it says there are no threats or viruses but yet i still cant get on the internet.

I don't go on fotki a lot, but just the other day I clicked on a fotki link a one of the antivirus things on my computer started freaking out, so I closed the window immediately.

I logged into fotki for the first time from my brothers laptop today. It immediately crashed. Now Im reading this thread, nah I'll keep my fotki un-updated like it's been.

I got the same warning as well today and I quickly closed out the page. This happened to our PC which has been dead since. I'm going to be very careful going forward on clicking on Fotki pages as I don't want my laptop infected!

My laptop just CRASH from looking at fotki, I ran out to get Norton and it won't do anything. So luck me my dd has computer and my old 2003 is still internet capable. This is terrible no one can afford to get a new computer for looking at pictures. We need to report this!

It happened to me too. I got the fake windows virus where it gives you an error and says win36 or something like that. It attacked my computer something serious and i had to get it cleaned. This antivirus from windows kept coming up to tell me i could purchase thier products but if you put your cc # in it would wipe out everything. I don't click on links anymore. Also when i tried to seach things in the google search engine it would always direct me to a site i did not try to search. Now i have avast, spybot and nortons. All i had was my carrier protection and mcfee before.

I got one too awhile ago on my PC. It was one of the really annoying ones that won't let you open any programs or do anything at all without 50-11 "YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED, DOWNLOAD THIS PROGRAM NOW" windows popping up.
I removed it with Super Anti-Spyware in conjunction with Malwarebytes though, and my computer is normal again. But I haven't gone on fotki since, not even to report what happened. I miss the hair porn, but it's still too scary.

Today when I was trying to look at someone fotki I got a warning message saying that that site may be harmful to my computer so i promptly did an about faceThank God for Macs...
