MY FIRST BAD RELAXER

Just venting -

I went to a new stylist and got the first bad relaxer I have had since I was a teen. Cream of Nature No Lye. My scalp was a mess from it and my hair has been sheding like crazy. The relaxer was wrong for my hair. I should have gone with my gut and said no.

I did some conditioning treatments to stop the shedding and it is getting better. And I am not gonna use heat probably for the entire month of may. I just want my hair to not feel pasted to my scalp. Anyway, just had to vent. I hope I don't lose more hair.

No, not faithful. But I was happy with Elucence. My old stylist thought it was better than Affirm for me and it seemed to do the trick. Of course she up and moved! I just let myself listen to someone else and did not speak up. I know how no lye is on my hair. It makes it crispy. In this case it was crispy AND pasted to my scalp. I am just happy the hair is still on my head.

My quest for a stylist continues!
