My hair loves:

1. Cold pressed EVOO
2. Unrefined shea butter
3. Suave professionals 2 in 1 pH balanced shampoo plus conditioner (so creamy and non stripping)
4.TRESemme Curl Hydration for after workout co washes (smells so clean)
5. Water spritzes in the morning. (she needs to wake up too)
6. Low manipulation (twists are her favorite)
7. Organic Root Stimulator Lock and Twist gel and Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie when re-twisting. (no water needed for this method!)
8. Satin scarves.
9. ACV rinses.
10. Regular dusting.
11. The way my husband and sons appreciate her beauty.

My hair hates:

1. Too much manipulation and combing.
2. Mineral oil (someone else said it but...how does ANYTHING become greasy AND dry at the same time???)
3. Oiled scalp = stinky scalp in 3 days for me.
4. Too much washing (one shampoo and one co wash is enough in one week)
5. Not being sealed at least every other night...'specially the ends.
6. Cotton pillow cases or my couch material after I pass out sleep due to a hectic evening with my boys. lol
7. When I threatened her life by contemplating a texturizer.
8. Clarifying shampoos. (stripped like she's swinging 'round a pole)
9. Suave coconut conditioner (she used to love him but broke up with him a while back)
10. If I get lazy with her.

It's not so much about what my hair hates as it is what i hate. My hair is limp and lifeless when it's wet or damp. It never looks good until it's 100% dry. Then I get some volume and swing.

My hair LOVES....

Lekair cholesterol. I wish I could be a spokeswoman for this stuff. It's the only...and I mean one and only product that I have used since I went natural like 13 years ago for detangling. Nothing can touch this product when it comes to detangling hair for me.

My hair hates shea butter. It's just too thick and doesn't seem to wash out of my hair well no matter how little I use of it.
