I LOVE Sekhmet's hair, it's stunning. There are LOTS of type 4 APL to BSL natural girls out there. I hope to be among them within the next two years.

Thank you MissMarie lol "the nappy couple" he s the one who forbade me to put relaxer again in my head haha but him people always call him Black Jesus or at his job his coworkers call him Pokahontas that always makes me laugh me when i wear my baggies to go outside people pay no mind but if i wear the hair out i get labeled African queen or queen i mean it s just hair but its funny specially the Jesus comment. each time we go to his practice games or on the basketball courts and he does just one huge puffy ponytail there it goes Jesus dribbles and pass the ball!!!!! the players are hilarious hahaha between them and the coworkers calling him Pokahontas hahaha he s always mad when i do his ponytail a little high he be like people gonna think i m a girl!!!!! make it lower!!!!!!! that s bad enough my coworkers call me Pokahontas! the worse he be dead serious when he says that priceless!!!!

I love your hair!!!!! What products do you use? I tried to look in the pic in your album but it was a little fuzzy. The only thing I could make out was some Giovanni, not sure what though.

I'm actually using Druide products right now (see their website).
What you saw in the picture are my staple products (that's the Direct leave-in in the pic, btw) that I was using earlier.
Now that I've been using Druide consistently for several months I can say that their strength is in their shampoos. The Purity shampoo will probably have the most staying power in my regimen. I still prefer the Jason cons, though, so after I run out (if I can hold out )I might go back to Jason Sea Kelp and Biotin formulas, or I might try more Giovanni cons since I've had success with a number of their products.

I'm a bit of a pj at heart, really, but I usually exhibit a reasonable amount of self control until I'm getting close to running out of something--suddenly I have to find something new to try instead of repurchasing the same product. I have an Amazon gift certificate burning a hole in my inbox right now that will probably go towards hair products (have you guys noticed that you can buy Jason and Giovanni and stuff in bulk from Amazon??).

thanks for the info!!!! i like trying new stuff too, i can never stick to one thing. i'm thinking about trying the giovanni, it's on my to buy list. Was the giovanni to wet to use on hair that has been straightened w/heat. It looked real liquidy when I saw it in the store.

I was hoping my hair would look like yours by the end of the year. But it doesn't. Your hair is a lot thicker than mine. I am thinking about switching to your brand of MSM to see if it makes a difference in the texture of my hair.

After reading your fotki, congrats on meeting all of your goals. It's inspired me to start my own journey.

I know we all see the beautiful relaxed MBLs and beyond and also the beautiful type 3's MBL and beyond-which are all beautiful btw-but I was wondering if there were any type 4's naturals with MBL hair and beyond, stretched and unstretched?

Can you name some if you know of any? Or direct me to fotkis. I am relaxed with no intention of transitioning but I would love to see some long haired nappies.

These links were created by MAMOCHAN of another great hair website...I hope she doesn't mind that I am reposting but she did an AMAZING job. These ladies aren't quite waistlenght (well not all of them) but there hair is gawgeous!

I made a list of links of long-haired naturals for the BHM ladies. I figured it would encourage them, especially if one of their goals was long hair. It turned out really well and I think they appreciated it. Hopefully enough to keep transitioning or stay on the natural track. I just went to that other hair site and saw that someone copied and pasted my whole post. I know they're not my hair links but that took me a good three hours to compile if not longer. But album owners did all the work, right?

here s his: he s now past brastrap midback and i keep asking him if he s trying to go to waistlength he doesnt want to cut and keep asking me if i m jealous lol hahaha he doesnt want me to trim his hair either on his i just use mane n tail shampoo and the vo5 cond and greases and cornrows thats it and wgo tames his hair as well as the gueyes gel to get the hair to lay down flat to do a ponytail and airdry.
