Progress PICS!

Hey, ladies,

Just thought I would share my progress from February to August with you all; I have attempted to put them in Photobucket; I hope they come out right; you know you gals won't look if there ain't no photos!

I got a 1" trim at the end of August because it was a scraggly thin mess; it appears to be a little thicker now and not so scraggly.

Yeah, I wish I could have held onto that length, but those ends so had to go; I'll get it back with time and patience!

You are definitely on your way to full shoulder length by early next year. Once you get to SL, remember to protect your ends. They start to brush against your clothes and can break if you are not protecting them. The hardest journey for me was SL to APL. Going from APL to BL was easy.

rdm, thanks for the reminder, I will keep that in mind; it can be hard to wear protective styles because I do love to wear my hair out, but you are right about it brushing the clothes.

Thanks for the comments about my ends! I guess I am one of the few that have been blessed with a wonderful beautician who knows how to trim, and how not to trim too much. I think when I first started going to her (pre-LHCF), I made it known just how much I hate scissors in my head!

I looks really good! Sometimes those trims just work wonders and even make your hair look longer because it looks healthier. Both pics look good to me but I can definitely see the difference in the second pic. Keep it going/growing, girl!

The trim was much needed; it only actually started looking scraggly after my relaxer in July, so they were still ok in Feb.

Congratulations on your progress. I think you and I have had about the same amount of growth. When I started in March I was about your length, and when I got a relaxer and 1in trim 3 weeks ago we are still about the same length. Keep up the good work
