Protective styles featured in this month\'s ESSENCE

I scanned the pages and added them to my Protective Styles album. The link is in my sig.

I'm going to have to try these styles myself. They feature a style that I've been wondering how to do for awhile.

I hope you don't mind me posting them in this thread. It just made it easier for me to look at and maybe others. I like those styles. Is that done with real hair or some kind of add-on? and the one all going back I don't know if I would have the courage to rock that one. But they are nice.

Your album of Protective Styles is impressive.

And your hair is....sigh...lovely!

Maybe I could learn to do some of these styles.....?

Yah,
right.

I like them all/ The all back one was a popular style in NYC like 3-5 years ago.

It's fine, Wolftrap. I didn't want to post huge pictures on the forums (the originals were much larger when scanned).

There are instructions, but you may not be able to see them in the pictures.

The last one is done with extensions (Especially Yours 'Stepping Out' around $15-20 at especiallyyours.com) but the other two are not.
