I have just about every hair product I need for the next two years. I would only need to purchase deep conditioner treatments. And hardcore protein products. And things like oils.
Probably a couple of months, some things quicker, some a little longer. I only have one container of each type of thing: one gentle shampoo, one stripping shampoo, one oil, and so forth.
At this point, I think my stash could last me at least 1-1.5 years. I've been getting lazier with my hair and am going through product much more slowly. So I've been giving products away a lot more to try to get through my stash faster.
I was just thinking about this and I was going to say 5 years but realistically I would say I've got way too many products for that so probably 7 years.
I feel like I have a TON of products, but when I think about it, I only have a month or so worth of shampoo/conditioner/moisturizers. I guess that's because so me, my 7 year old daughter and 2 year old son all have LOTS of thick hair and we all use the same products so.... I guess that's about right.
I'm out of DC and need to re-stock now, but I have about 1-2 years worth of oils and Shea butter.
Well, 6 months ago my stash would've lasted me and my daughter 2 years at minimum I started gifting, giving away and really using things though. Now I just want to add a couple of things (oils and more co-washing conditioners for "shampooing") and I'll be able to go at least until this time next year.
