Spin-off: What products did your mom use on your hair?

Let's see hairdressers hated to see me coming so needless to say mommaStarfish did my hair and I had the nerve to be tenderheaded with thick hair!

I think she used:

Green Ultrasheen (hated scratching my scalp and getting that under my nails)
Prell or Wella shampoo
Pssssst. ---> the dry shampoo you sprayed in your hair and brushed out (am I telling my age on this one?)
Vigorol --> 'member that one? It kept her from wanting to cut my hair which she never did.
later Gentle treatment perm (after I got to at least HS)

I don't know when we started using conditioner. I think when i started doing my own hair. I hated getting it straightened, that was an all day project. I would jump all the time and get tired because we would be there all day.

She still is like Don't cut your hair!!! I am trying to save those strands that try to commit suicide by breaking off.

I don't remember if I responded to this thread before or not. But when she washed and did my hair at home between appointments she used:

Let's Jam
Cream of Nature Shampoo - The red one
Pink Lotion - She used it as a setting lotion to rod/roller set my hair. She put it on dry hair and let me sleep on it over night. Then i'd have fresh curls.
