Wedding Day Hair!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for all your tips and hello again to former members of Longhairlovers! Sorry I can't email much but with being in school, planning a wedding, and trying to work (you think /images/graemlins/grin.gif?), I'm sneaking time to do this as it is!

I need your help! My hair is natural: shortest 4 in., longest 10 in., and measuring from widow's peak to back, 17 in; having trimmed a good portion of the Vigorol disaster. I would love some ideas for how to attain and maintain a curly wedding do!

By the grace of God I have found a great hair care specialist (since she does care about your hair, is in to her own natural concoctions, and does a mean press)! Now I need to figure out how to get some really tight curls that will gather on top of my big head so that we can intertwine pearls (maybe on bobbi pins?) in them!

Two factors, it will be in May 2003, and I live in the south with 1000% humidity /images/graemlins/shocked.gif!

Any advice would be welcomed and appreciated!

Hmm....good questions. I think nappturality.com has some great pictures on the home page under Women on the Web with instructions on styles.

I would say twists, and braid outs, but with the humidity, I'm not sure.

Also maybe an updo for the back and then some twists coming down in the front. There is a picture there.

I wish I could be more help.

Congratulations on your wedding! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
