2010- Most Moisturizing SALON brand CONDITIONERS?- What's yours?

So I have been perusing all the threads focused on the best most moisturizing conditioners, b/c I am in the market (constant search) for something new to try. It seems like a lot of us are using more natural, etailer bought conditioners these days, and not as many store/salon brand condish's. Personally, I haven't bought a salon brand conditioner in yeears b/c I have been under the impression that more natural brands are somehow better. But lately I have been hit or miss with some of these organic brands and started thinking that I need to look into salon brands again.

Nexxus, Paul Mitchell, Kerastase etc.?

What are your favorite, most moisturizing salon/store brand condish's that aren't natural or organic and have you found a huge difference between natural and not so natural in terms of moisture and performance?

I'm sure others will chime in, but for me it's Elucence Moisture Balance Conditioner. This is the most moisturizing conditioner I've ever used and I've experimented with quite a few products. It also has many uses: co-wash, DC, leave-in, daily moisturizer, etc.

I just rebought Elucence but am planning to use it more as a leave in than a DC. Never used it as a DC before but I may try it for my next wash. When you use it as a DC, do you sit under the dryer, rinse out and then use it as a leave in or have you ever tried it as a leave in?

Last week I just tried keracare humecto after a 4yr hiatus and I am sooooooo in love with it. I also love elasta qp DPR-11 remoisturizer. Joico moisture recovery really did not leave my hair really soft and moisturized when rinsing like these two.

When I use it as a DC, I mix it with Avocado Oil and JBCO because all my DCs take better in my hair with a lil oil. Before rollersetting or airdrying I will also add it as a leave-in.

I use this as a moisturizer as well, esp when I'm bagging my ponytail or right before I bun. It really keeps my ends moist.

A lot of positive reviews for L'Occitane Shine Repairing Mask for Dry & Damaged Hair

I have it, but my verdict is still out on this product. I am going to try just using in by itself and not mix it with anything.

Elucence is the most moisturizing conditioner I have ever used!!

......and I don't add anything. I use to think Keracare Humecto in the tub was the best. NOT ANYMORE! LOL

Elucence is great!!

Taking notes. My hair is fickle. I've tried Elucense back in the day and it was just okay, nothing special. Same with Humectress.

My all time fav has been discontinued - Bumble and Bumble Super Rich.

I have been using YTC for over a year and it worked well but this past weekend, my hair came out much frizzier than usual :(

I have 2 Ors packets that I hope will work well in my hair since YTC let me down:(

Oh wow, so you wasn't so keen on it then?

I've sat under my steamer for 30 minutes with this mask and my comb just glides effortlessly through the hair. No other conditioner can match it for me!

I use most things Elucence. I use the treatment, Love it! It actually leaves my hair moisturized even though its a strengthing product. It goes a long way because its thick and it works well, so I only use it once a month.

Do you use heat when deep conditioning?
I have yet to try it without heat.

I've tried it with heat a few times and it was still pretty moisturizing. I think heat helps most DCs penetrate the strand better though so I make it more of a habit to use heat.

It's a great moisturizer though.

I think I shouldn't have mixed the conditioner with anything else. Do you just use this product straight?

I adore the Elucence line. I credit this line exclusively in helping me grow my hair from EL to SL in a lil over a yr (this is spectacular growth for me). These are the products I've tried:
  • Moisture Benefits Shampoo - My staple shampoo. Very gentle and not stripping at all. Hair feels hydrated afterwards as well.
  • Volume Clarifying Shampoo - I use monthly. Again, very gentle for a clarifying shampoo but gets the job done.
  • Moisture Acidifying Shampoo - I use this whenever I relax.
  • Extended Moisture Repair Treatment - I would consider this a medium/hard protein. I've heard that if the product is clear or amber colored it is usually considered a harder protein (I think I read that on machieamour's website). This stops breakage in its tracks for me.
  • Silk Hydrating Elixir - I use this as a leave-in before I rollerset. Leaves my hair very soft with a nice shine without feeling weighed down or greasy.
Hope that helps! I know it's not too detailed, but it's time for me to leave work!

Master Cut's Vitamin C Conditioner(winter)...IDK if it's still available (I bought a BUNCH awhile back 1+ years and I won't be restocking for until April-ish). I use it when I wear my fro and alternate it with ORS pak (spring/summer) when I feel like the product isn't working anymore, then I switch back, if that makes sense.

Oh, and I add some EVOO and honey to both!
