I have the olive oil Hair One. Picked it up on Sunday while in VA and so far only used it to detangle so my sister could do my cornrows. I will wash with it and report back.

I washed with Hair One this morning but did not take down my cornrows so I did not get the full effect.

It did not lather at all. I soaked my hair for about 2 minutes and then used 8 pumps of Hair One to wash. I pushed the product into my hair to make sure each cornrow was covered. I left it in my hair while I showered (put on a plastic cap). I rinsed it out after 5 - 7 minutes. I added a tiny bit back in as a leave in on my cornrows. I put on my durag, stocking cap and wig. That was 7:45 a.m.

By 8 p.m. I was back at home and my hair was still moist. The ends of my cornrows (twisted into a tiny bun) were wet.

I recently tried the jojoba and it is absolutely wonderful. I used it for a co-wash and for a leave-in. It left my hair soft, moisturized, smooth and silky feeling and the shine was off the chain.

ETA: I was never motivated to try the WEN and I did not expect much from the Hair One, to be honest, but it performed extremely well for me. I had to leave it in Chicago, but I am going to Sallys soon and get another jojoba and an olive oil and mix them.

I think I am going to give the product another try. I will try it as a leave in a deep conditioner like pp mentioned and see how that works. I just put some in my dry hair and it seems to be calming my itchy scalp.

I just bought the Olive one today and it worked pretty good, I just washed my hair with it and my hair was very soft afterwards, I haven't tried it as a leave in because I have some leave ins I need to use up, I Like it, but don't care too much for the scent, I will keep using it!

I tried the Jojoba formula for color treated hair last night and I loved it! It didn't give me the slip like the olive formula but the moisture that I got was so amazing. I rinsed my hair with water, used about 20 pumps and let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes while I shaved and showered. While I was rinsing it off my hair felt so moisturized and soft. I was able to detangle well but like I said I didn't the slip that I got with the olive formula. I put some more in my hair as a leave-in and air dry in two braids, today I took my braids down and my hair is still feeling so soft and moist!

I still use my hairone, I especially love the Jojoba formula because it's so moisturizing. I use it as a leave-in too! I wish that they came in larger sized bottles.

I tried the olive oil one. I DC'ed with heat and then washed with it.
My hair felt very soft after coming off the dryer, but i used it as a leave in too, and i found it left my hair feeling coated, with a waxy feeling.
I would probably use it again if i were going on a trip since i like the all in one usage of it, but its not fabulous.

I just bought the Jojoba one....I think I wasted 10 bucks :ohwell:

My hair feels better when I use my $2 bottle of Trader Joe's Nourish Spa. I'll try again tomorrow to see if anything changes. :look:

I agree with the slip from the Olive Oil Hair One. I love it and will purchcase it again. The first one was a gift from Nice & Wavy - thank you sweetie:grin: an now I know which one I can now get when I'm ready to buy it. I think I'll get the jojoba and tea tree as well next time though.

Yeah I'll be mixing the Olive and Jojoba together to see how it goes. I have the tea tree but I didn't have the chance to try it yet.

I hated the jojoba one. It made my natural hair hair and dense. How do you use it to get good results or are relaxed ladies having better luck with it.:ohwell:

Sunny On a Cloudy Day
Last week I finally got to a Sally and while there decided to get the HairOne Olive Oil.

I liked the consistency and how it was easy to distribute and the comb out was pretty good too. I used it a leave-in as well.

I didn't like the scent, smelled almost like tobacco and not like Ojon.

It left my hair moisturized for the better part of the day, but my hair felt dry by the end of the evening.

This was my first use and I will use it again and in my opinion it's a good product for the price point but unfortunately it didn't leave me wanting more.

For now, I'll stick with my beloved Wen. If it ain't broke... :yep:

I just got my second bottle of the OLIVE OIL one today. I love it! The slip is amazing and it is one of my staples for cowashes. I haven't tried the other kinds because of the mixed reviews, but the olive oil one leaves my scalp with a slight tingly clean feeling (there is a little tee tree oil in it too).

I haven't tried the wen, but I like hair one because it makes but my hair feel cleaner than just conditioner, but not stripped like shampoo. I don't like it as a leave in because it left a residue, so I always rinse it out.

I have 3 bottles of the Hair One. 2 olive oil, and 1 tea tree. I'm just trying to use them up. They are only "okay" to me. I've also had the Wen set (all 4 kinds). Those were only "okay" to me too. I like real shampoo and conditioner on my hair. Sulfates doesn't bother me. My hair is always strong no matter what products I use.

I tried the one with Olive Oil. This product is okay. I actually get better results with my staple shampoos. I will definitely use the bottle until it's gone, so it can't be that bad:look:

I purchased the olive oil. It leaves my hair very soft which I like. Will continue to purchase this product. I don't like the tingling on my scalp though and the smell is not that great. Overall I will purchase this again.

Now see I love the tingling on my scalp:lachen:. I am still loving the Jojoba one- I could easily see this being my CON replacement when my CON runs out.

I love the Olive Oil one. I have also tried WEN-Fig but like Hair One-Olive Oil better for my hair. It leaves my hair moisterized and detangles it very well!
