Happy Thursday LHCF,

It has been a great week. I took down my braids after 4 weeks Yeah ;)

I washed with Aphogee Shampoo for damaged hair to Clarify. I then used Hair One Olive Oil ;)

I used Nexxus Emergencee and then Steamed with Alter Ego for 30 minutes. Used my Leave in Aphogee Leave in and Aphogee Green Tea , a little Argan oil got under the dryer, came out put a smidgen of Herstyler serum and blow dried and put in my spin pins :) in to nice small bun LOL

My scalp was sore after taking out the braids but feel much better now. I love feeling my own hair but I can't wait to be back into the braids. ;)

SO LHCF enough about me..

What R Your Hair Plans??

I've had braids in since August 2 (braided into a beehive). I will be taking them out and rebraiding them sometime this weekend.

I just took down my two French braids after two weeks and did my Joico 17 minute miracle routine.

I will attempt a twist out tonight. I hope that it comes out alright as my new growth is starting to misbehave :ohwell:

I have not used heat in almost a month and I am getting sick of this wet bun. :look: I am currently 13 months post relaxer and its getting harder to detangle, it wasn't too bad up until about 2 weeks ago. So, on Friday I plan to shampoo and DC overnight. On Saturday morning I will rinse, blow dry and flat iron. I also plan on getting a trim, my last one was 4 months ago. Its supposed to cool off in LA this weekend so I am hoping my hair doesn't turn into a fro as soon I step outside.

Saturday- Deep con with Banana Brulee & coil out for a curly fro with flower
Sunday- Something creative and new after my cowash! :)

I'm going to be celebrating 14 months post tomorrow  and I'm going to do a length check which means I'll be breaking out the trusty flat iron. I'm doing my henna gloss and DC tonight though to get a head start.

I'm going to do an Aphogee treatment, DC+hemp seed oil treatment, and then rollerset my hair.

My sister is coming over with my niece so I'm doing their hair, plus my older DD's hair. Yes for free. Come visit me! LOL

Pre-poo
-Wheat germ oil and Olive Oil (with heat for 15 mins)

Wash
-Unscented pure castile soap diluted with aloe vera juice (I am sooo  this new wash method)

Medium Protein + Reconstructor
-Elucence Extended Moisture Repair Treatment mixed with Mizani Renew Strength Reconstructing Gelee (with heat for 15 mins)

DC
- Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner mixed Avalon Organics Biotin B-Complex Thickening Conditioner, avocado oil, kukui nut oil and JBCO (with steam for 30 mins)

Air dry 50% then Blow Dry with comb attachment (1st time trying to blow dry with comb attachment. I hardly ever with direct heat, but I think my hair is healthy enough to try it a little more often)
-Leave ins: Shescentit Moisture Mist, Shescentit Coco Creme Leave-In Conditioner, Aphogee Green Tea and Keratin Restructurizer, Redken Anti-Snap (on ends only) and Nioxin Volumizing Bliss Thermal Protector

Style
Braid straight back and wear a half wig all week. Need to do something because I am becoming so hair lazy.
