:thankyou: :bouncy:

Innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnteresting!!! Girl, you might be on it, on it here, and I know we can find a site that is secured, instead of dealing with DC Labs unsecured site!!!

Almost anytime someone has brought the pet version, it's been in the 2oz size, and in that size, ounce for ounce, it is more expensive.

But - the 16oz version, on the other hand - you are totally right - that's much cheaper than OCT, and you get an extra 4 ounces! :woot:

:lick: I can get y gallon of MT, CR, and some Pet Rebuilder all at once - shoooot.

Thank you, again for sharing this!

You're welcome !!!!

That is a good observation - I guess DC labs is trying to capitalize on this by changing the packaging. I bet it is not that much different either. I am going to have to look in to this one. Thanks Chick!!

Is it me - when I went to the www.eqyss.com site it had a black chick taking a shower with a bath brush advertising their shampoos. What is that about????

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!! Straight from the horses mouth!!!!!

From Debbie at Tailgator:

I asked EQyss quite a while ago about the
difference in the ranges as they had different labels, (the 2oz we stocked
showed different ingredients from the 16oz) and I wanted to check if I
should stock the 16oz pet Mega-Tek, just in case it was better for dogs /
cats. This is what the EQyss Sales manger said (email below) in the end I
decided to only stock the 16oz equine size as most of our clients are
using this as a horse related product. I haven't bought a new batch of the
Mega-Tek pet 2oz as I have quite a bit in stock at the moment, but I think
on the next batch the lables will show the same ingredients as the equine
range.

I hope that is of some help.

Take care

Debbie

Hi Debbie,

Our Equine and Pet Mega-Tek are the same. The (2oz) labels are old and
there were mistakes on the ingredients. As soon as we run out of them the
new labels will be the same as the Equine labels. Also, here in the
states people use the Equine Mega-Tek on themselves because most people
wont use a Pet product on themselves. All Equine people try horse
products on themselves before they will use them on their horse.

They could put anything on any label. How do we ever really know what we ar buying and using for that matter. I know that order of products is supposed to denote percentage, but what if the manufacturers and retailers are lying. How would we ever know?

Well they are really dangerous to put the wrong label on a product....I don't know in USA but in France they really take a major risk even if it is for pet and even more if they claim that it works for humans too !!!

I don't agree with you cause the 16 oz bottle of MAGATEK COAT REBUILDER is $34 and OCT is more than $50

If you have a look on eqyss website you 'll notice that there is a mention : "works on human too" for the pet version that doesn't appear on the equine one(even if we al know that it works too)...As if it was ovation cel therapy with another label.

Thanks alot! More ounces, same ingredients and cheaper. I will definatly order this one when my MT gets low. I had tried OCT and was not too impressed for the money I paid for it.

Did anyone end up ordering this??

Here's the 'final answer' for those who were interested (like me... :ohwell:)

Okay - I just got off the phone with Marvin at Eqyss with regard to the difference between MT Equine and Pet Rebuilder, this was his response....

"They are both the same - ingredients and all. The new packaging will soon start reflecting Megatek Rebuilder versus having a separate bottle for both pets and horses. Also the one for pets is normally 10.00 higher they will use the pricing normally used for the horse version"

I don't know about you, but I would have been "hotter than fish grease" if I bought the pet version (with OCT on the brain) and saw that it had the same ingredients as the horse, then paying an extra 10.00 for it!!! :hardslap:

So those using MT and want to get the OCT effects - ya' gotta' buy the OCT - the pet rebuilder is not it!

Well back to my MT...the saga continues....:giggle:

BTW - if this has been noted in the previous thread - sorry for the redundancy - sometimes I just get tired of reading...

HTH!!!!
