I lurked for so long last year, peeping once every 3-4 weeks... saying I wouldn't pay til I saw threads that made it worth it. I saw
La La, SweetCashew, and
Chicoro and I flipped and started lurking everyday. Then I was discouraged when I realized they were natural and most of the board was too. My natural hair is incredibly unmanageable to me, even at it's healthiest. I transitioned for six months then went right back to a relaxer. So I had to find someone who I could identify with.
SistaSlick is the MAIN reason I broke down and paid my money. I adore her hair (and her articles too)! I sure as h*ll stepped my regimen up by reading her articles. After one day of my new regimen, I'm loving my hair more than ever and am SO inspired to embark on this growing journey.
