Thanks for the heads up on the medicated smell. I was going to buy it on my next hull.

The mist is really great. I used it years ago, forgot about it and then re-discovered it about 3 months ago. Really nice silky, moisturized hair. The medicated version doesn't smell too good though.

I may have to go pick this up, I saw it but didn't know the purpose for it. I just tried her Loc Gel (over a little castor oil)for a flat twist out last week and it was the best one I've had since being natural. I read on one of the message boards a comment that mentioned they used her gel and had a great twist out, so I went and picked some up. My hair was very defined and looked like it had been blowdried first (it wasn't I did it on damp hair directly after washing). I was also looking for the oil, but none of the BSS that I went to had any in stock.

Prior to seeing this thread, I just bought the tight hold lock lock it up today, so I'm anxious to try it out. I'm just getting a bit tired of using the regular type of gel, you know? I'll keep you all posted with how it works.

Great thread!!

Ooh I'm eyeing the lock it up for some twists, the bodifier and crinkles and curls. And the conditioner. I need to stop!!!

Based on this thread I picked up 2 bottles yesterday on my local high street for £3.99 each. Sprayed a little on my hand, felt great. I'm due for a hair wash so will try it in the next few days on clean hair. Since I cannot seem to find my Elasta QP H-Two I'm praying this is a perfect replacement. I like the ingredients list as well. I'm currently using Daily Doctor. It seems as though anything with Glycerin just makes my hair too sticky leaving a horrible film on it.

i've said that stuff was magic but the store i buy it from closed down and moved far away *crys*
and it's so hard finding good products in London sometimes

I use to use it and it is very good, but after awhile it started making my hair sticky so I diluted it and it was great again. But I really didn't like the smell of it so I had stopped using it.

I am liking this mist, its too early to give a good review but i do like it so far and i hope that it keeps giving me consistant results. My hair is funny when it comes to protein but this like a few others have said doesn't bother me.

I tried this on my DD's natural hair and I really like it. Her hair was still soft the day after.
