Beyond a Henna Gloss

Okay: so when I first joined the thread: Henna Glosses were very popular and Cassia Glosses as well.

Now that we're more popular with other powders like Amla, Brahmi, Shikakai, Neem, etc: is it possible to do glosses with those. Has anyone tried?

Could Neem + Yogurt or Conditioner + Coconut Oil or EVOO = Glossy & Thick Hair ?

One lady did Brahmi & Yogurt:

I don't have an answer to your question, but I bought some neem oil today and it smells horrid. Do I have a bad batch or is that what it normally smells like?

Henna and Cassia are completely different form the Shikakai and the others. Henna and Cassia coat the hair, henna has color, cassia doesn't. The other powders are used to clean the hair. There are also some oils that some ladies have incorporated into their routines. I think someone on the Ayurvedic challenge would be able to explain the other powders. Try searching Ayurvedic. There are also some very informative threads on henna and cassia. I'll try to post one tomorrow, I'm a little too tired right now.
