Cellophane & Recommended hair stylist

Anyone tried cellophane, just a clear one to help with shine of hair and sealing cuticle? I usually get my hair pressed every 2 weeks but I have noticed some breaking around my edges and my stylist does not seem to notice it. I'm not crazy. I heard that a cellophane, just a clear one kinda shields the hair from the heat and seals the cuticle more. My stylist does not seem to be concerned with helping achieve my goal of healthy hair and I feel she is annoyed when I mention protective things we can do to help me keep my hair.

Anyone heard of the cellophane being used for this purpose?
Also, anyone out there who can recommend a good , healthy hair conscious stylist in the Atlanta / Duluth - GA area?

Are u relaxed or natural? I know that it works on relaxed hair, but I dont know what the results would be like on natural hair.

I'm natural. I actually tried it a few weeks ago and there was a major difference in my hair. It was so soft and silky once pressed it felt just like I had a perm
