Back in the 70's my mother went to hair specialist for laser light therapy and swore up and down it thickened her naturally (and tragically) thin hair.

I recently purchased an iRestore light therapy helmet for home use to treat my naturally (and tragically) thinning hair. My hair is denser than my mother's, but also kinkier. It looks fine when natural, but when straightened it's another story.

I'm only on my 2nd night using this thing.

Has anyone else tried laser light therapy and, if so, what were your results?

They say it takes about 4 months to see any results, so I have to wait until October to see if this thing is a miracle worker of just a really expensive hard hat.

    What say you?

I just started, but per instructions, I will be using the helmet every other day for 25 minutes for the first 16 weeks. I have 15 to go. I'm also taking Viviscal daily and using NW 21 when I can remember.

I am considering using one of these. My crown is just so fine and scalpy.
