Hi Ladies!!:wave: It's time to help those of us (like me) still living on the seamed comb side of life. Show us what life is like on the other side, on that seamless comb side. I've been looking, and that grass looks nice and green and plush....I want IN!!

Shout out your favorite SEAMLESS COMB here, to help the rest of us. I'm particularly looking to replace my wide tooth handle comb (for shower/wet hair use), fine tooth rat tail (for flat ironing, comb chase method) and blow dryer comb attachment.

I second Hercules Sagemann combs, specifically:

The Magic Star Jumbo Rake - it's like finger combing, but with a seamless tool
https://hotcombs.net/product/magic-star-jumbo-rake/

The Styler Comb - good for smoothing and detangling (this is my everyday comb, always in my bag)
https://hotcombs.net/product/hs5580-styler-comb/

The Tail Comb - best rattail I've ever tried (I also like the hairsense tail comb but this one is even better IMO)
https://hotcombs.net/product/hs6450-tail-comb/

Also, Hercules Sagemann is currently having their Summer-End Sale.

Another Hercules Sagemann fan here. Ive known about these combs for about 10 years but only decided to get one a few months ago. Let me tell you, one of the best hair descisions I've made. Ever.

I used to suffer from splits both regular and midshaft and SSKs. No matter how much pre-poo's/protein/DCs/oils/ hardcore PS.

Ever since I started with this comb I have seen a DRASTIC decrease in split ends and my mid shaft splits and SSKs are now nearly non existent.

I have the magic star jumbo rake, and now that im going back to rollersets this fall I will be also getting a rat-tail as well :yep:

I might pick one of these up. Do you know what site the sale is on or have a coupon code? I don't see it on the hotcombs site

They were advertising their Summer-End sale on their hotcombs.net site. It looks like it ended on August 31st...which sucks since summer isn't over yet.

They should have at least waited until the unofficial end of summer and kept it up until Labor Day...sheesh sorry (the combs are still worth it at full price though :look:)

Thanks I'm still gonna purchase. My last detangling session had way too much shed hair. Time to invest in some better tools.

My fave is https://hotcombs.net/product/magic-lady-star-comb/. It was the only comb I had for two years after someone stole my jumbo rake.

I just bought this comb https://hotcombs.net/product/hs-styler-comb/?attribute_pa_size-styler-comb=large-7-25 and I love it.

Another vote for Hercules Sagemann! I have the jumbo rake and the mini one rake, which I've had for years. I'm sad I missed the sale. I wanted to pick up some smaller tooth combs, and one for my daughter.

Ion silicone dressing comb from Sally's. Not technically seamless but the seam is tactually imperceptible to me whereas I have had "seamless" combs before and when you actually feel between the prongs it's quite rough so watch out for that. The Mason Pearson and i think Kent had that issue so bear in mind seamless in no way means smooth which defeats the purpose of it being seamless.
The Ion is silky smooth all the way around.

I've broken combs feeling between the prongs to see if they were actually smooth.

I'm another one for Hercules Sagemann. I've got a bunch of different kinds including the Jumbo Rake. I only comb my hair 2 to 4 times s year, but when I do I do their 3 comb smooth. My hair is left so soft after.

One more vote for Hercules Sagemann combs. I have several of their combs and love them all.

I do not recommend Hairsense. I purchased 3 seamless combs from them a few years ago and all of them were flawed. They had split teeth, and rough edges. One of them actually had hair stuck in one split tooth. And I couldn't get it out. I took pictures and sent them to Customer Service. The owner apologized profusely and sent me 5 new combs to replace the 3 I had purchased. She told me to keep the original three. So I got eight combs for the price of three. Three of the five new combs still had rough edges. I took all of them to a friend of mine who is a carpenter. He smoothed and polished all of them for me. So I ended up with five beautiful combs, but I had to put in too much work to get there. And I'm still afraid to really use them everyday - I have bad comb PTSD. So I have relegated them to purse, travel and office combs.

Combs: 1 star
Customer Service: 5+ stars

For everyday combing I use my Sagemann combs. They are the BEST. Smooth as silk and never any catching or snagging. The quality is exceptional and I don't think I'll ever have to buy another comb in my life. I wish I could find good brushes on this level.

I have these:

What is the difference between the jumbo and the mini? Is it the space between the teeth? Can you show us a side by side photo?
TIA!

I feel the same way about Hairsense. I ordered one of their seamless bone combs a while ago. I was disappointed in the rough edges when I received my order and I felt the comb. I ordered my Hercules Sagemann comb shortly after that.

What do people think of the eternally in amber combs? I've been buying a few mostly because they are pretty. But I find it annoying as they are usually out of stock a lot on what i want and I'm kept waiting for shipping .

I like their picks.

Thanks to your post I bought this pick last night lol. $15.00 w/shipping. I bought it because it's cute and it'll be my two year natural trophy. I hope it picks well. Thank you.

I've never had a seamless comb before!
