I only have one friend who like to talk hair with me. She'll ask me what I do to take care of it and stuff...others just say oh, your hair is really growing! and they leave it at that...that is the part where my husband jumps in and tells them all about my hair regime, making me seem like an obsessed psycho! They just look at me and smile.

I dunno what i get. Lots of people who hang around me always whispers to me "hey that girl was staring at you"
but i do remeber one time i was talking to this girl and she just randomly ran her hand through my hair. I was like ???. I dont mind if someone i know touches my hair but i didnt even really know her like that!

I see other people hair and always think something is better about it then mine /images/graemlins/smirk.gif. From the people I know, it's admiration. From strangers, most of the time it's one of those "trying to figure out if it's really hers" stares <img src="http://st1m.longhaircareforum.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I only get admiration stares when I curl my hair with perm rods, other then that, my hair isn't anything to look at so I know I don't get envious glares!

my hair's cut short and I do get those looks. I think some women wish they could be brave enough to be "free" too or it could be the shine, or the softened sideburns.. whatever it is, I'm getting the looks!

TRUE THAT /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Can't believe I've been around long enough to see one of my posts from 2004. I usually lurk so my posts count isn't very high. :)

I think I get more looks of curiosity when I wear my fro. My husband notices when we go out but I don't pay much attention any more.

As for the question, No one pays me attention as far as I know, but then again, I confessed I don't pay attention!

I get compliments. Surprisingly, most people think it's thick but I don't because of all the shedding I'm having.

Me too. One lady in particular is always commenting about how nice and thick my hair is whenever she sees me but I feel like it's average. Maybe even thin sometimes.
