I bought

- Grapeseed oil from Trader Joe's
- Coconut oil from Whole Foods
- Hollywood Beauty Olive Creme


I'm trying to go back to spraying my hair at night, moisturizing then braiding. I used to do that years ago and my hair looked incredible in a few short months.


Edit: I meant grapeseed, not wheatgrass :drunk:

Bought some liquid hair gold products to help with shedding and growth. Specifically, bought the green magic, am aka oil and liquid gold hair growth oil. Wish me luck!

QB products used to be in different packaging (everything in white jars). Shortly after the owner repackaged CTDG users had issues.
The problems were:
It no longer absorbed easily into strands
Moisturizing properties diminished
Detangling properties were diminished
Consistency varied between runny & creamy - Normal consistency is a stiff cream; like beaten egg whites.

The owner assured everyone via social media that there's no formula change. It's been over a year since I purchased CTDG. These issues may have been resolved by now.

Using LHCF via smartphone. Can't see mentions.

Happy hair growing sis. :up: Please let me know how this product works for you.

I returned the Camille Rose Curlistic Moisturizer because it didn't go well with my other products in my LOC regimen. This product works good by itself.

I also returned the SM Yucca Shampoo - i never tried but love my Kinky Curly Come Clean shampoo too much to try anything else. :lol:

Oh no!!! All of my current QB products are in the old jars and I wasn't aware of folks having problems since she changed the packaging. This is my first purchase in over a year too. Now I'm nervous!

Edited to add:
I've been rocking with QB since 2007 and still haven't found anything that compares to their product line. Please lawd don't let them disappoint me now!

I feel the same way... I discovered QB & Oyin from NP back-in-the-day (both creators were members).
B.A.S.K was the only line that came close to QB quality & performance for me.

I looked at my Mission-Condition DC'ers today. :look:

The Tropical and the Banana are super thick.

My Banana smells more like Chocolate than anything. *interesting*

I think I'm going to really like the Honey one.

The Tropical smells kinda fakey-fruity.:look: I'll have to see how it performs.

As I said, the Banana is chocolate-y. Both are uber thick.

I just hope they perform well, and rinse clean.

If they perform as good as the 'stuff' we've already tried, I'll be pleased.:yep:

But, overall, as of now, I think I'm going to especially like the Honey one and probably the Cheapskate Cranberry R/O

I bought Ology Castile Soap from Walgreen's in Lavender. I paid $12.49 for 32oz in the store but found out you can get it for $9.49 from Walgreen's online. I plan to try it as a body wash, facial cleanser, and as a clarifier for my hair. Those are the uses according to the bottle. I love multipurpose products.

Got my hands on some shea moisture products. I finally took the plunge. Now if these don't work they'll go back to the store quicker than a NY minute and then I'm steering completely clear of the line for good.

A new flatiron and the BT Manageability System.

Omg this flatiron is sooo good! It gets really hot tho. I started on 420 but had to go down to 380...and my hair is dense and coarse! But turning down the temp got me uneven results...I have more texture on the 2nd half of my head but wrapping it helped. I dont like that I couldnt dc tho. I also added chi iron guard and some jbco.

The system was nice. The poo did cleanse well, but did strip it a little. The leave in actually help me to detangle. I was terrified based on reviews that I wouldnt be able to..whew! Overall im pleased! I still have a little left. I do see myself using it again in the near future.

I wasn't on LHCF last BF but it seems like folks may have been scarred by the long processing times and are willing to trade a slightly lower discount with reasonable processing times an less frustration.

Because of you, on Friday, I made that second order for the DB mask and OH BSP.

You're relaxed right? What are your top 3 product recommendations for relaxed hair? My mother is relaxed and I've shared a lot of what I've learned here. She's experiencing softer moisturized hair and less breakage. But her hair has thinned out at the top of her head. I'm def going to give her some pumpkin seed oil.
