Does anyone wear a bun under their wig rather than braids? (obviously those with shorter or finer hair).

I'm going to come back to wigging it. The wig is just too easy. I bought 2 silk top wigs from freetress and so far they look great. I think I will buy one more. I am going to try just leaving the edges out to see if I can grow the rest of my hair a bit.

Now I only have one wig I will be wearing right now. I straightened and did this fire cut on one wig but I could not curl the hair. Not even a weak bump on the ends. I tried to work with the tangly wavy texture but it was just a waste of time. Terrible wig. My other wig is perfect. I just wish it was a bit shorter so it could be an everyday wig but now I need to step my game up and try wearing a glamorous look day to day. Beauty is my profession so I need to look the part too.

  • Pre-poo'd overnight with AVJ spritz.
  • DC'd with ORS & Texture My Natural for a little over an hour under the heat cap.
  • CW'd with HE The Sleeker The Butter, used CC's Natural Scalp Scrub, Garnier Reconstructor & 80% rinse out of ACV & Tressemme Moisture Rich.
  • LCOB'd with L = LRC Shake 'n Go; C = Mop Top Curling Custard & KJ Natural's Green Mango Stretch & Curl; O = Keravada Alter Ego on scalp & Buttercream on length; B = SSI Kiwi Kiss on ends.
I am still keeping my hair in twists, but I haven't returned to my wigs. I will probably only wear wigs in the Fall & Winter.

I don't plan on wigging it this summer, but I plan on keeping my hair in twists and sticking with my current regimen of co-washing twice a week.

Yay! I finally wear wigs now so can join the challenge. Most of mine are Bobbi Boss wigs. The short ones are human hair and I have a few long ones that are synthetic. Do any of you play w/ temporary color spray?

I'm back to my Chocolate wig with the wet and wavy hair. I really hate the bangs, but the color and texture are gorgeous.

I wore my wig all week, but the perimeter of my hair is itching. I think I may be allergic to it, so I'm making today my last day. Sucks because I was getting used to it.
