Does Anyone Use Those Straight Plates?

I know there was a huge thread on those straight plates. Not sure what happened to it, but I've seen some YouTube reviews, so, they must be on the market somewhere. Has anyone here used them? If so, what's your review? Are they worth purchasing?

@yodie, I have 2 sets and reviewed them on YouTube and my blog and feel it's worth it. It stretches my 1 year post new growth really well. It's a bit clunky to use at first but you will quickly get the hang of it pretty quickly.

I'd like to try them as a way to stretch my hair before flat ironing. But I also can't imagine sleeping in them overnight to dry. Maybe I can use them and then sit under my unused domed dryer.

I have to admit that I'm leery of buying them after the negative thread a while ago. I'll check out the YT review mentioned upthread.

eta... I just watched the review. I'll pass. Seems like too much work and manipulation and I'd worry about breaking/damaging/snagging my hair in all of those hinges.
