Just that bun. She washes it with whatever I give her from my product graveyard and slaps some conditioner in it and will only deep condition if I pull a gun on her...

Otherwise, she washes, conditions, braids it in 4 braids to dry, and pulls it into a bun with her faux piece.

My mother is the queen of low maintenance. It's a wonder I came out of her body at all!

Your mom's hair is so pretty. My hair texture when not processed looks exactly like your mom's 4a/b type. It looks so soft and silky when relaxed. You can never tell she's 4a/b.

WOW!!!!! That is awesome! Your mom's hair is fabulous! I love her bun and the comb out reminds me of my aunt..she came over recently and asked for a trim

and she was combing through her hair like wild fire...I was like STOP!!!!!

AND OMG..........YOUR hair is simply gorgeous...what ever color you have is gorgeous ( hope i spelled that right) BEU-T-Full!!!!!

Oh Tracy, your mom's hair looks magnificent. The amount of growth she's gotten in two years is simply amazing. Goes to show, simplicity is the key.

Tracy, thanks for the pics. You are making me want to drive an hr to Atlanta to get me a blowout.

Your progress is an inspiration. So whenever I get tired of washing and deep conditioning my hair. I will look at your album for inspiration. You will be at waist length in no time.

Bimbabe - no, she doesn't visit but she knows y'all are like family so she was so excited and cute when I fianlly took pics of her hair to post.

She does what I say when she's around me, but she does the bare minimum on her own.

I have to wrestle her to get her to deep condition and do a pre-shampoo...

Kenesha - isn't she stunning? But she doesn't think she's pretty

- and we look just alike (I'm just lighter) and everyone says so - but she thinks' *I'm* pretty and she's not.

I take her to get blowouts and pamper herself in the hopes that it will help her love her a little more and see what I see.

Serena - no flat iron. Just the blowdryer and a brush.
