WEAVES: Full & partial

I'm seriously toying with the idea of getting a weave done sometime next year.

Here are some great full and partial weaves that look so undetectable

http://www.reniece.com/portfolio.html (if you click the options on the left for more pictures of her styles)

She also has a fotki album

I don't want any hair showing at all this one is one of fave styles she has

See that's why I don't want a partial I'd have to do touch ups more frequently or flat iron the hair to death to just blend in with the rest of the weave. A full weave is more up my street. I'd have to look into getting that parting piece to make it look more realistic.

that happened to me too..but i really didn't take care of my exposed hair properly (not saying that about you)

I am staying away from weaves for awhile...but go for it!! Your hair looks strong and healthy.

Go ahead and get yourself a weave. Just make sure you get it done by someone who knows what they're doing and that they don't put it in too tightly.

Reneice is amazing and is the inspiration behind me learning how to weave my own hair for the past 6 months.

Girl yes that was me...
I like the peice you are gonna put in front londondiva, how will she attach that.. I have had a lot of hair growth with weave, but i need to find someone in my budget to do a full weave, i am trying toi resist buying a lace front

I would agree that the hair left out doesn't do as well as the hair that's braided underneath. My hair in the front never broke off but it stayed the same length (bangs) forever. I just got a full head straight weave this weekend and it turned out good. She didn't use a closure piece though...

I agree!!! I'm 'bout to take these tracks out ASAP!!! The front, sides and back broke off BAD, but the new growth under the cornrows are crazy!!!

Next week, I will put microbraids in the front and sides, and weave the rest of my hair (sew-in).

That parting peace makes such a big difference. Had a couple full hair weaves and I couldn't stand the closure!! my stylist was so indiffrent!

You sew that on as part of the full weave and the part attached on that plastic base you can actually part giving the appearance of a more realistic weave with a scalp parting. I had one done when I was 19, they do look good.
