As for my skin, I'm mostly lucky (I had my acne phase but grew out of it when I was about 14), but I do have some staple products that love. Ambi has the best line and the products are designed for women of color.

I've been hearing a lot about coconut oil and I will be picking some up very soon.



I said in the OP to disregard the dates on the photos because my camera was reset to the old date from when it was bought. The first two photos are from last year. The rest are from yesterday.



The lighter brown is from the last time I colored my hair right after my BC. I haven't colored it since so it looks like I have highlights.



The mascara that I'm wearing is Carbon Black Voluminous by L'Oreal. I'm just wearing chapstick in the photos. My lips are naturally that color.

Okay that may be the reason why its hard to get the ends really smooth when you where trying to flat iron. My hair did the same thing when I had hi-lites. The color I used lifted the cuticle too much. Wasnt damaged but just frizzy as a ****. Beautiful either way

You know, I never thought of that!! I colored it so long ago that I didn't think it would matter. Now when I think back to when I flat ironed, my hair was perfectly smooth up until the old colored spot on the ends. I still have about an inch of old colored hair so I'm thinking about just gradually trimming that part off. Thank you!!
