I applied my oil last night and sealed my hair with Vatika frosting. May cowash tonight but will definitely apply my oil again.

A while back I pm'd NJoy and asked about using MSM powder instead of sulfur. She said other women used the msm and complained of white powder in their hair. I tried to make her sulfur recipe with unused msm pills I was tired of taking and she was right its was hard to dissolve.

is it to late to join this challenge??? i hope not i just started using (about 4 weeks now) Bee Mine Growth serum. I use it every other day and im taking pics monthly. ill start adding them here if you ladies let me join your cool sulfur club

I just oiled my scalp with NJoy's new formula and put some SD RCA on the length. I'm about to let this marinate under a baggy for a few hours.

abioni I've never used MSM powder in a mix for hair. About 5 years ago I was taking MSM powder orally - not for hair growth. It was also during the time the crown of my hair had broken off due to bad hair practices (combs from hair extensions, permed hair, not moisturizing, or conditioning my hair, etc.) I did start to use castor oil on my hair but that was it. But the hair in my crown area grew back very fast. I do believe it was due to the MSM.
I resumed taking oral MSM and switched from powder sulfur to liquid MSM, about mid May. I will continue to use this type of sulfur application until December. If I see AMAZING
results, I will continue with it. I am hopeful that I will. To support NJoy I did purchase her sulfur mix when she first released it but I haven't used it yet. I also took advantage of the Liquid Gold sale last week, just in case I need to switch regimens.

Just oiled (still using NJOY oil).Still oiling nightly.
Unfortunately I have not been baggying. Its way too hot here in Texas.
Planning on oiling all the way till BSL (Dec 2014 or sooner). Then I am switching to JBCO- (trying to simplify my hair life)..

It may be because you were trying to do the mix from the pills. The powders that I linked all claim they dissolve in water and juice.
Hi ilong, thanks for the feedback. I decided to go for the powder since it is cheaper than the liquid one. The oil mix used to rub on everything so I stopped using it. I will just get the powder and mix it and see what happens. I will post my findings too.

Would this sulfur oil regimen still be effective if I use my sulfur oil mixture at night only? Thank you in advance.
Last night, for the second time, I applied the oil to my scalp and massaged, then put on a shower cap+scarf overnight. I co-washed; then used Silk Dreams Destination Hydration Conditioner as a leave-in and put hair in a ponytail.
I am still trying to make a concrete regimen with my oil mix. I also made an online purchase for NJoy's oil on yesterday

faithVA Ahh, the mystery is solved. I've never had acne issues, and suddenly, I'm breaking out badly. Also, my face was quite itchy, reddish, and agitated. It didn't click that it was by sleeping/baggying with the sulfur. Hmm, I guess I'll have to use in the day time only, before cowashing.
SN: What happened to the original njoy thread (feel free to pm).
So finally took my box braids out two days ago. My hair is in bad shape. I felt like giving up with this journey but I decided to just step back for a couple of days and regroup. Cut off 3 inches yesterday and am ready to grow again. I'll update my starting picture tomorrow

So I diluted it. I do 3 parts NJoy oil and 1 part some type of oil. i have really tested this out because I am using other things on my scalp. But I have put the diluted mix on my scalp, put on my DC and did an overnight DC with no issues.
Eventually I will try different dilution strengths and applying it in the morning to see how that works. I have several issues: I have hand in hair which doesn't help. And I don't like to sleep with a plastic cap, so I am thinking the oil from my cap rubs on my pillowcase and then on my face.
I will keep you posted if I figure things out. I think it is just the level of sulfur in it that is the issue.

Will oil my scalp tonight. I just purchased 3 more bottles of NJoy oil. Think I might oil& dc tomorrow night...maybe lol. I'm lazy right now.
