ALTER EGO..that stuff is soooo worth the money...the garlic and the coconut mask is my new staple..the NUNAAT CUPUACU --not $$$ but great stuff, the NUNAAT DAMAGED/dry hair also not expensive but yawn, yawn, yawn. Yes, I'm a NUNAAT pusher...the more of y'all who try and love it the more vendors will carry it-saving me an expressway drive to Coney Island to find it.

Girl, the Dominicans I go to are now carrying this line (NuNaat). I used their relaxer at my last touchup. I don't know where in BK you are but she sells them and I believe the bss around here are starting to. Tell me what products you buy and for how much (so I can comparison shop) and I'll check it out for you.

Now Alter Ego.....

I drop at least $100 when i get touch-ups with PHYTO

Also i pay extra for steam treatments but they are worth it!!

Oh don't even talk to me about the salon visits. You go to Phyto Universe and it's 200+. This place on 106th and... something east of Broadway charges 120.. .if you buy it and go to Michelle's on 40th and 6th they still charge you like at least 65 for the relaxer even if you bring your own. ~_~

Aveda DR Intensive Restructuring Treatment. This stuff is 75 euros in some places--ridiculous--but my hair loves it!!! Not to mention that I have to get on a plane to get it because Aveda does not exist in this area!!!!

My most expensive?

Alter Ego anything (mostly nequal)
Fekkai
Noxin Follicle Treatment
Noixin Scalp Treatment
Nexxus Emergencee 33.3 oz
Chi Silk Infusion

There are some other stuff that I would consider expensive...but I rack up when they go on sale!

Yep, I haven't been successful finding it here either. I love it, but I switch with Korres, because they have a few stores here and it is also nice on my hair. I am 4a/4b also.

Another Alter Ego user, I love my AE Nequal and the garlic con, I also have the clarifying shampoo, conditioner and reconstructor.
Alter Ego Cren and Revitalizing drops
And my new and expensive love, Alfaparf semi di lino serum and the oil vials:drunk:
Chi Silk Infusion, I just scooped up the last bottle at Winners(like TJMaxx over there), a huge one that will last me for 2 years at least
and last but not least, the dominican stylist I finally found here in Edmonton, Canada, not expensive but addictive, plus she cooks for me, offers me dominican rum while I'm under the dryer and gives me dominican spices for cooking.:lick:

KinkyCurly Curling Custard...about 25-30 a jar...I'm still on the first jar, but it will be a repeat buy.

I second that. I just got my 1st jar a week ago & I'm so in love. I slept on this b/c I thought it was just like Miss Jessie's & my hair didn't like that. :nono: But this stuff has truly saved my natural walk - I was almost on the brink of giving up.

Phyto Hair Mask, 37 bucks, but it leaves my hair soooooo soft. I use it very sparingly though:ohwell:

Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose shampoo/conditioner (20 for both)

KCCC (12.99 at my secret spot) and Spiral Spritz 12.99

Redken Products...mostly from their Smooth Down and Extreme Lines.

Um, Miss Lady we don't keep secrets on LHCF. Hand over the name immediately.

:busted:

So you caught that huh? I get it from Ricky's, but at a location that hardly ever sells KCCC, so they marked it down to 12.99 permanantly.

I'd have to say Aveda Brilliant moisturizer. It's £16 here. That's $32 USD.

I really want some kenra MC now. I really, really do.

Redken is £10 a bottle here ($20), but that stuff is great too. And I can't wait til I go back to the US and get some for cheaper!

The other thing is From Nature With Love's shealoe. It's $20 without shipping but DANG. When I used it last summer my hair was bangin! I didn't want to wash it because it felt so great. I could not stop touching it. I couldn't believe I made my own hair feel that great.

Now that I'm in England I can't use it anymore, the shipping is over $100 for anything you order from FNWL... :ohwell: And I can't find a UK supplier.

Phyto and Phytospecific products. I've got a couple of the lines - one for when I blowdry, another for rollersetting, another one for past 12 weeks of NG... it's REALLY bad.... oh well....
