She is common sense and simplistic. I like the LCO method though. I just recently realized that there was a time stretched that my strands hit MBL. I had to cut due from a setback from waiting too long to trim (I had to find a new stylist, she got real trifling). Since that time several years ago I have been stuck at APL. This was one of the missing pieces of the puzzle. My cream was claudie's revitalizers quinoa coffee balancing moisturizer. LCO works well for me if I keep my hair twisted. If I have a twistout just cream and oil will suffice. A seasonal trim is a must for my fine but dense 3c strands.
