List what's working and what's not for this month.
Miss: Tossing unused products due to mold.
Miss: Tossing unused products due to mold.
Miss: Giovanni Deeper Moisture conditioner. Made my hair feel hard.
New Hits:
- Replacing my weekly shampoo with SSI Blueberry Cowash
- DB Peach Kernel Milk as a refresher on dampened hair
- Using SSI Buruti Milk prior to straightening
- Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray (produced light, airy, soft hair)
- DB Cocoa Bean Smoothing Cream (this smoothed the heck out of my hair)
- Bask Cocoa Nibs Bath Sugar & Condensed Custard
- SSI Brazil Nut Buttercream (works on both straightened and dampened hair)
- Trying to use up older, less effective products
Continued Hits:
- SSI Riche & Fortifying Masques
- Bask Vanilla Whiskey Soak
- CK Satin Roots Detangler
- Komaza Protein Strengthener
- HV Sitrinillah DC
- HQS Peppermint Mask (too bad the proprietor offers unreliable service)
Misses:
- HV Hydra Silica (a greasy, non-moisturizing mess)
- DB Cocoa Bean Hair Whip (did absolutely nothing; just sat on my hair)
- Bask Palm Tapioca Hair Cream (no moisture, no shine, no-go)
- All Soultanicals products (initially feels good, but ends up as dry nastiness)
- SSI Juicy Berry Buttercream Frosting (made my hair dry, dull and stiff)
- SSI Eucalyptus Mint Shampoo (resulted in stripped, severely dry hair)
- Trying to use up older, less effective products
PJaye Word? Welp. I guess I'll pass on this. Also surprised about DB's Coco Whip? It gets great reviews.
Hit: Straight Hair...Low to no maintenance. LOVE IT!
Hit:Soultanicals Mango Dip
Detangled my dry, 4 week old twists taken down hair in no time
Soultanicals Double Dutch Hair Yum and Funditioner (kids line)
Resulted in soft hair (and skin for the hair yum) and both smell amazing!
Damn her horrid customer service, her products work great on my hair
Huge Hit: Being able to use up some of my products because my twists are out
NaturallyATLPCH, Yes! This is the best detangler ever! So much slip, it's insane. I'll be picking up mine from Healthy Hair Dimensions when they open up on Tuesday.
Continued hit: Sealing with Hairveda Cocasta oil
I usually tend to seal with butters but this oil is thick and rich. My hair stays moisturized for days.
The love of my hair life going on 4 years. That cocasta is the truth! Liquid gold. SweetlyCurly
