Hi ladies! Spring has Sprung. I did my first press since December. Here is my length check. I know there isn't much difference, but this is a picture after my trim. I am transitioning without BC'ing, so I see this as lovely progress. My Length Check album has my pre-trim pics. Ladies please post your updates from the beginning of the year until now!

Yeah, I definitely think your hair is thicker too. BTW, your 3rd pic says MAY 25, 2010. Slow down, mama. I need those extra months to get more growth. :lachen::lachen:

My pics are in my siggy.

Your hair looks thick, congrats on that

I have to take some picture ASAP topost my update in my challenge, when i do so i will post them here too

Teehee. I am always messing up dates. I will change that Pronto! Please post along with me, I feel so lonely in my March length check pics. Pictures really are a blessing. I would never be able to judge my progress acurately without them. I was just thinking...mmm, I want THICKER Hair!

Thanks! I only straighten every three months, I get a press with an old fashioned pressing comb. My regi:
1. Wash once a week with a sulfate free shampoo (Trader Joe;s Nourish Spa or Carol's Daughter Khoret Aman) or an SLS shampoo (Kimble cleansing).
2. Once a month I do a bentonite mask
2. DC with a macrowaved turbi towel (Its my rigged steam treatment) (Yes to Carrots Mask, AO White Camelia condish)
3. Rinse DC then leave in Giovanni Direct or my AO White Camelia
4. Seal with a mix of oils (coconut, castor, melted shea, whatever)
5. Bun everyday! (except when I straighten)

Yes, your hair is beautiful and thick.

Im also transitioning without the big cut but wont be taking pics until June 10 for my 1 year post.
