Stuff I bought last week:
-Revlon realistic relaxer - mild
-Revlon realistic neut. poo - tried this for the first time on Sat. I loved it!
-Plastic caps
-Gloves
-Lottabody setting lotion - Hmph. This may be for decoration, I don't know when I'm going to acutally set my hair.

My hair is loving oyin honey hemp! This stuff is amazing. I use it as a leave in. It has a nice slip for detangling, leaves my hair soft and shinny, and I put it with distilled water in a spray bottle to moisturize every day and seal with either burnt surgar pomade, shea butter, or avocado oil. If I use to much it gets crunchy though.
Great conditioner. It's my first all natural conditioner. I use AO HR for deep conditioning. That stuff is amazing.

This thread makes me realize how fast the months in 2010 have flown by! Im already counting down until black friday lol, been makin my list and checkin it twice lol
This week I only got KCCC and Beautiful Curls Deep Treatment...been experimenting with the kccc on my two pieces of natural hair lol and i cant wait to try the beautiful curls next wash day!

So I went to a natural hair supply store and they were having a 25% off sale and I bought a bunch of stuff!

I'm trying to decrease my salon visits and cut back on thermal styling, so I bought these products to try and start coming up with an at home regimen. I also ordered some Afroveda and Oyin products, but they have not arrived. I got my hair straightened this weekend one last time, but starting next week, I don't plan on going to the salon for at least 3 months, maybe even 4.

OK I just got back from the Vitamin Shoppe after perusing Target too see if I could find a non-protein but natural leave in conditioner so I picked up Jane Carter's Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner and also got Aubrey Organics GPB Conditioner. I am looking to phase out some of my less natural hair care products that are so-so.

You will be SO happy you did so. I use natural products exclusively now since the middle of this year and my hair is just so beautiful and soft. At first it will feel weird and you'll have to clarify 2-3 times to really get the benefits. Also, try using one or two really good lines. Its the best! I do not use sulfates, cones, petrolatum, mineral oil or any of that stuff. Just pure natural goodness. I am 3c/4a, very blunt, full APL after a recent cut. HTH! I am the biggest natural/organic product advocate.

yesterday i went to the bss by my house to see if they had the new taaliah wajiid curl product, they did not! and the tw products that they had contained a bunch of petrolatum and the only good thing was the protective mist but i already have it!! So i just bought 2 packs of flexi rods that I really didnt need...poor me, cant walk out of any store empty handed!
