June 2017 What Did You Buy This Week?

Well seeing as it's a new month and all:-

Mahogany Naturals Hydrating Hair Juice
Satin Pillow Rollers
Three More Inches Pre Shampoo treatment - only bought the small tube of this before I spend big dough on the larger size

ETA: Mane Choice Growth Oil
Anita Grant Double Cream

I've just received this, god it's gorgeous. It dealt with the frizz that I had immediately .

Hair has felt beautifully moisturised all day without the weighed down feeling. The jar is teeny tiny though, but I'll only need a little bit as it's so rich.

It'll be great in the colder months.

Thanks! To try to keep myself consistent and accountable with my hair regimen, I've set up a blog about my experience in the hair growth study here: https://myhairgrowthstudyexperience.wordpress.com

Purchase:
Waterproof Electric Scalp Massager from Ebay for about $3.00: http://www.ebay.com/itm/391654603786

Something about the price concerns me, but I've purchased decent, very inexpensive products from Ebay before and felt it was worth a try for so little. I see only one review of it on Amazon, and of course that review could be done by anyone (the seller, etc.).

This is way cheaper than the ones from Vanity Planet or the other site that I can't think of! Lol

Sharpened

A fleck on His Sword
I wanted some glass jars on the flat side, but the few I found online were too pricey. I found these at Target and thought they were the cutest things:

I hate those two-part lids for everyday use, but I had some reusable plastic ones I bought for my big'um and hoped they fit. Success:

So, I put them on all the jars. I will give the metals ones to a pothead who knows a grower:

...and returned the jars to the box, squirreled away from nosey males, until I need them:

The End *curtsy*

I have those same glass jars and you are absolutely right...the lids are a pain. Gonna look out for those Mainstays lids. That's an awesome idea!

I couldn't resist the discounts and zero shipping:

Morroccan Method International:
  1. Blunt Snip Haircutting Kit for $29 instead of the usual $60 (I have never had any professional-level shears, so this is a good buy if the shears are good)
  2. Curl Power - Define, Elongate, Detangle (treatment) x 2 . . . $12.50 / 6 ounces instead of the usual $25 (too pricey IMO, still, unless it really works!!!)
  3. Sample of the Blood of the Dragon Styling Gel (because otherwise I'll NEVER try it)
I am resisting trying the Bumble and Bumble Anti-humidity Gel Oil that keeps getting awards and rave reviews.

I am resisting my Etsy cart as well, so no BrownButterBeauty leave-in (award-winning), or Darcy's Botanicals Pumpkin Seed Conditioner (I really want to try this some day), or APB Blueberry Cheesecake DC (people keep saying it's great).

These past 2 years, I have seriously slacked on taking care of my hair. It's so dry and damaged that its forcing me to revamp my regimen and products and really give it the tender loving care it needs weekly. I'm doing whatever needed to get my hair back to its vibrant, juicy healthy state. So I purchased the following items:

Deep Conditioners

Sally’s GVP Matrix Biology Conditioning Balm
Silk Elements Megasilk Olive Moisturizing Treatment
Silk Elements Megasilk Moisturizing Treatment
Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner
Shea Moisture Hi Porosity Moisture Correct Masque

Protein
Aphogee 2 Minute Keratin Treatment

Rise Out Conditioner

Aussie Moist

Cleansers
JR Liggets Moisturizing shampoo bar (Wal-Mart online)
Rhassoul Clay (Amazon)

Leave-ins and Moisturizers
Qhemet Biologics Cocoa Detangling Ghee
TGIN Supermoist Leave In

Oils + Sealants
Silk Elements Pure Argan Oil
Unrefined, Raw Coconut Oil
Aloe Vera Juice (whole leaf)

Accessories
Multicolored Animal Print Fashion Scarf (Sallys)
Magenta satin cap (Sallys)
Mesh wrap cap (Sallys)
Wrap scarf (Sallys)
Curved needle and thread (to make upart wig)
Denman Brush (had one once, but haven't seen that thing in at least 5 years and I was relaxed then. Looking forward to seeing how it works on my natural hair)

Enjoy, @Sally.! This should be fun!!!

As you try things, reflect, and make progress, I'm sure you'll be documenting so that you can notice which combinations and techniques work and which don't. Please feel welcome to jot your discoveries/reflections at the current regimen-tweaking-sharing-nailing thread: https://longhaircareforum.com/threa...and-or-improve-your-hair-care-regimen.808893/
