Black Friday / Cyber Monday Sales - Good, Bad, and Ugly Buying Experiences

Well, I got my black Friday orders yesterday and its a mixed bag for me.
The website I ordered from had the old picture and ingredients lists for Aubrey Organics GPB conditioner so I ordered two. So why did I receive 2 bottles of the new formula?!?! I'm in two minds about even trying to return them but I'm salty.
The coconut soufflé from Shecentit smelled like rancid oil even though the texture is nice. So I'm not keen on that especially as Shecentit is supposed to be famous for their scents.
The kalahari melon seed oil from Crown Pride also smelt a bit rancid. For some reason I was hoping/expecting a melon scent.
The plum kernal oil from Darcy's Botanicals doesn't smell as plummy as I would like.
The Hairveda Strinillah (sp) conditioner says best before August 2015, so I basically have 8 months to use it within its fresh period. It pisses me off when business give you products too near their sell by date especially when the discount isn't that great.
I missed out of other products I would have liked to try because I bought the above products that I wouldn't have if I had known I would be so disappointed by. That is so irritating.
I'm on a personal no buy challenge now and this black friday sale was supposed to be my last product blowout.

My J. Monique Naturals and Oyin should be delivered today. J. Monique was ordered on 11/25 or 11/26. Oyin on 11/28. Good shipping times for both.

The Good: Mission:Condition's Tutti Fruitti Deep Conditioner
The Bad: I only ordered x1 Jar during a previous Sale
The Ugly: I had 'ample' time/opportunities to buy multiples of this.
I kept passing this up during this Closing Sale.....tried it for the 1st time this evening and BAM!
The Ugly: I just ran back in there and mostly everything has been picked clean down to the 'Bare Bones' LHCF-Style (ya'll know how ya'll do)
The Ugly-Ugly: The Line is being temporarily discontinued.
This is why I didn't buy anything even though it was a darn good sale. I don't want to fall in love with something and not be able to repurchase and plus y'all folks stole stuff that was in my cart.

I've already gotten my boxes from Bobeam, Henna Sooq, J. Monique's and Vitacost today where I ordered very, very early on 12/2.
Tomorrow I should receive boxes from NJoy and APB. Saturday I should receive boxes from NaturelleGrow and Neoteric. Sally's sent the UPS tracking number, but it's now showing yet.

Mission Condition-hair candy & goji silk ordered on 11/ 28, received on 12/4, I was excited to try these s o I washed and applied the hair candy.
It's yellow colored and has a sweet candy like aroma, smooth creamy texture and felt good going on. I left this on 60 minutes cause I fell asleep, anyway I rinsed and.........nothing special.
I applied the Goji Silk (smells like sweet tarts)and after my hair air dried it didn't feel greasy but it behaved and looked it
so disappointed. I was sad because I couldn't get another of both, now I might wind up being glad I couldn't.
Maybe I need to clarify. My Oyin Shine & Define & Boing came today and Jakeala shipped

My Hattache package hasn't arrived yet. According to the tracking my package was shipped from Cali to Shreveport Louisiana...they just skipped right over my state!

RUBY I had the same problem with the curly emporium. They sent me some hairveda products that had 6 months left on it. I didn't even realise and I used it. I emailed them to complain and asked for an exchange. I said you can't sell something that has a 6 months sell by date and if they're going to sell it it should be at a discounted price!
The lady came back with a reply saying that it should still be fine to use after the sell by date and said she couldn't exchange it. I wasn't happy with her answer so I told her so. I told that this was unacceptable, so in the end the changed it for me.
I saw their sale and decided to pass it up this year. I'm not buying anything from there again.

Yes, I'm a certified PJ. But it's not all hair, there are some body things in there too.
Some are new and some are repurchases but I guarentee you there are purchases in here that make mine look like yours
.There are also some Christmas presents in there too.

Curl Mart and Oyin are on it. I received my shipping notice from Blue Roze. This was my first time ordering from them. I hope I enjoy their items. I purchased based on other's information shared. I placed another order with Silk Dreams. I haven't even used their other items. I need to work through some items. I know she posted it would take four weeks. Cream and coco...Her system kept crashing and I wanted to purchase some items. So maybe next time. Lush, I purchased several items from them prior to Black Friday. I received my box last night and my box was damaged. Several items were soaps were broken and were going to be Christmas gifts. I'm going to put in a call later today regarding my stuff. Way too much

I'm still waiting on my Oyin order. USPS said it would be delivered by December 4th. The last update says it was in MN on the 3rd.
