March 2016 What Did You Buy This Week?

@Beany @IDareT'sHair

I just ordered CR's Sweet Ginger Rinse too!

How do you use this? I was thinking of using a deep conditioner immediately after.

I wanted the Caramel CoWash too, but isn't offered any longer on her site & Target doesn't have it online. The local Target doesn't carry this line in store boo!

Looking forward to your tboughts/suggestions

Thanks Ladies:biggrin:

Went to Walgreens and bough two get one free of Sheamoisture Curl and Style milk two bottles and one container of Sheamoisture Hair Masque.
Went to Sallys and bought two get one free of True Leave-In Hair Masque and True Conditioning cream. The conditioning cream is on the shelf right now because I used it by itself and it left my hair crunchy. I am going to use it again with the True Leave-In and see if it gets any better.:afro:

@blackviolet

I just bought it for the 1st time today. Probably won't try it until Fall.

Check AveYou. They seemed to have a pretty robust CR line. Maybe even CM or some of the other places. (Hattache, Pampered & Twisted)

I use it as a weekly (supposed to be weekly, anyway lol) shampoo. I DC after.

Making my first post ever on this board! Lol hey ladies!:)
I bought:
-4 boxes of Jamila Henna (ordered from eBay)
-Silk Elements Moisturizing Treatment
-Coconut oil
-As I Am Twist Defining Cream
-TreSemme Luxurious Moisture conditioner

I just took my hair out of a weave after wearing weaves back to back for the past three years, so I've been buying a lot lately to care for my natural hair. I'll probably be buying a moisturizing shampoo too later this week. I bought the Dabur Vatika shampoo a couple of weeks ago but....:( I felt it was super drying for my hair.

the curly kids/curly chic is a decent line for the price point ($4 a bottle). They work well without being greasy. The ingredients are decent but some items do contain silicons. The shampoo cleanses well without stripping.

I used the Curly Kids Deep Conditioner on my hair. I really liked it. For $4 it was pretty much the bomb :lol:

The only way I can use the AOHC from Qhemets is if I mix it with the OHHB or the BRBC. Its surprising that the AOHC is too heavy for my hair and Im a natural dense haired 4a with a tad bit of 4b above each ear. Using AOHC alone, my hair is greasy and a little hard but let me mix it with one of the lighter creams, LAWD. The shine and the softness!

I just dont need the creams anymore and adore the CTDG so I only buy that now. Sad to say I have a BRBC sitting in my stash now , I barely use. I'll try and use it up this spring/summer because I bought it last year. Trying to clear the older items out now

I'm going to try your method. I was going to return the AOHC to Sephora. It isn't working for me and it has a weird smell almost fishy... not sure. I will see of using the OHHB will work.

I would advise mixing with a water based cream, not the OHHB. OR mix the BRBC with the OHHB if you have it. Since theres olive oil in the OHHB , it might be too much oil with the AOHC.

@BrownBetty

I always mixed in a small container.

BRBC with AOHC
AOHC with CTDG
AOHC with MTCG
AOHC with BRBC

Naturalista Cosmetics Leave In & Moisturizer --

Received a sample of the moisturizer in my Hattache Black Friday order and loved it. PJ Problems: I was sifting through samples and had another Naturalista Sample that I received sometime ago -- who knew. Packaging changed but effectiveness is the same.

Oh and...I added QB MTCG to my order.

@rileypak, I have that brush in my wish list and have held strong thus far. I will get it at some point though.

@Beamodel, I love Komaza's protein treatment. I struggled for years with protein and protein overload. I've never had an issue with that one. While they never have sale and that makes me salty, I'd buy it at full price because I can't be going through trial and error with protein.

@divachyk

Yes I agree. I purchased mines at full price too. I absolutely adore that protein. It is the best I've ever used.
