I suppose these are my hair "hits and misses" for the month.

My hits are: exercising; water rinsing; curl formers. Misses include misusing olive oil and letting second hand smoke smell linger in my hair for days.

MISS:
OBIA Curl Enhancing Custard. Left my hair hard, dry and fuzzy and no chance of second day hair. Just horrible.

Continued Hits:
Curly Kinks Coil Jam! Four day hair and loving it. Well defined curls and kinks and no dryness. Easily re-activated.
SD Mocha Silk Hair Milk (I'm sorry I strayed away so long). Especially effective re-activating the Coil Jam.
HH Soft Marshmallow

New Hit:
HH EspressoSelf! Moisturizing and delicious smelling.

When I first purchased it, i got it from Oyin. But after that I got it from CurlMart bc they had frequent sales. I don't remember how Oyin shipping time frame was though. Sorry.

Moisturizing my ends with HH Expressoself and sealing with sunflower seed oil.

My ends are so sleek and smooth. I don't feel the need to re moisturize tonight either.

DITTO!

The smell is delicious, like a vanilla mint candy or something. It cleanses well and DID NOT strip my hair. It almost felt as if I had conditioned it. LOVE IT!

happynappyhoney.com’s Moroccan Clay conditioning hearts....I'm puzzled by this product. I sent her an email asking how to use it. This is her reply:

Glad to hear that you are loving the DC! The conditioning hearts are pretty much a low lather conditioning bar & you can use as a co-wash or even a wash and go. Make sure the strands are soak and wet then apply by rubbing until you see slight lather. Wash out and strands should feel cleansed and silky soft. One bar lasts for months!

That didn't help because that's precisely how I tried to use it and I almost had a set-back trying to rub and rub 'til I saw a slight lather. So, I don't know how it is.....Looked at YT videos, too and they said the same thing...difficulty applying the product. Two thumbs down!

TWO THUMBS UP! and a back-flip for happynappyhoney.com's Pink Sugar Hibiscus DC. Used as a leave-in. Hair is moisturized, soft and non-greasy. Detangled my hair very well, too. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product. Will be stocking up this Friday!

A continued hit was:

Oyin Hair Dew and realizing I could replace Qhemet Burdock Root Butter cream as well as Camille Rose Moisture Milk with it. I can get a liter of that stuff and I'm straight.

An oldie but goodie hit was:

A single french braid on twists because it is easy to do, keeps my twist set fresh and minimizes the amount of twists I need to do initially in order to look decent. This also keeps my hair stretched and I like how my hair looks in it. Cute protective styling for the win. Yay for going to sleep, waking up, and then not having to redo your hair!

Hit: Bee Mine conditioner. This stuff helps detangle so well. Too bad I think it's too expensive (got it via a swap).

QB AHTB and eco custard combo. Nice soft twist out.

After using this two weeks in a row I think I'm going to use protein free conditioner more often.

revisted hit - Hairveda Whipped Jelly

my texlaxed hair hated this stuff with a passion but now that i am natural this stuff is my new BOO! i am so glad i got a sample in my last order and i tried it on a whim before a shampoo. i figured if it didn't work i was going to wash my hair anyway......

So glad i tried it again~
