Ok @faithVA , you are keeping me on cue with everything I need for hair success in 2017.

1. The current state of your crown, scalp and/or edges. My edges are starting to fill in, but still so very thin.
2. What is your plan to restore these areas? I will begin with scalp massages to that area and inverting.
3. What products do you plan on using? I just started using Xcel-21 cream and I have the growth oil mixture that helped restore and grow my nape after my last relaxer fiasco.
4. How often will you check in with us? I'll check in monthly. I hope to document with pictures as well.

Im in....

1. The current state of your crown, scalp and/or edges.
In my crown my hair grows in really fragile. It tends to tangle and knot up more. My scalp is doing fine right now and my hair on the right side edge is pretty sparse.
2. What is your plan to restore these areas?
To use products that are made to target issues of thinning and slow growth.
3. What products do you plan on using?
As of right now: Xcel 21, Hair Pouss Plus (or like product), Minoval, Castor oil (black or/and traditional), Tea Tree oil based products, SM JBCO Edge growth treatment.
4. How often will you check in with us?
At least monthly

@faithVA I'm in as well.

1. The current state of your crown, scalp and/or edges.
My edges are finally starting to thicken back up. My goal is for them to be lush so I can confidently wear buns again.

2. What is your plan to restore these areas?
Keeping the area clean and moisturized, being gentle, and massaging regularly.

3. What products do you plan on using?
I'm using Haitian Black Castor Oil, Minoxidil, and Networks Xcel.

4. How often will you check in with us?
At least weekly.

I have a new love: grapeseed oil. I add rosemary, peppermint and lavender oil to it for my crown and edges. I use it straight up to seal my ends.

One of my goals in 2017 is to maintain and be consistent with my beauty regime so I'm in.

1. The current state of your crown, scalp and/or edges.
My edges, moreso on the left side are very short and thin. I really want the hair there to start growing. My right side isn't that bad.
2. What is your plan to restore these areas?
Scalp messages every night.

3. What products do you plan on using?
I'm going to finish my bottle of emu oil and then do the essential oil blend. I also want to try Tamanu Oil

4. How often will you check in with us?
Every week.

I also want to grow my crown out so it can reach my bottom layers. I want my hair to be one length. I'll be using the oil blend on my crown too.

1. The current state of crown/edges.
My edges are slightly thinned out on the sides. Crown is thick, but I have sever all different lengths. I'mainly not sure if the shorter sections are a result of breakage or shedding and regrowth.

2.What is your plan to restore these areas?
I plan to spray Xcel21 at least once a day and do a scalp massage. I will invert once a month also.

3. What products do you plan on using?
Xcel21 with rosemary, peppermint and lavender essential oils.

4. How often will you check in with us?
I will check in after each wash day.

I'm getting my hair braided tomorrow so today is prep day. I did an Olaplex treatment then washed & DCd. I'm unsure if I'll get my edges braided. In previous sessions, we left them out because they were so fragile. I normally wear the braids down or swoop the sides to pull them back into a low bun. I know I need to baby that area.

My braider was very happy to see that my edges are filling in....she was able to get a few braids in the area. I plan to baby the area with growth oil/cream and get the braids in this area redone in 3 weeks.

I used my oil blend twice this week. I did some form of scalp massage but I hate massaging my scalp. I need to buy an electric massager :yep:

Even though my crown is thin, when I did rollerset tonight it wasn't too noticeable. We shall see when I comb it out though.

I think I need to join for the edges in the front of my head. They are not looking good or thick enough to me, so I need to tackle them with massages and my own homemade scalp oil and/or Xcel 21 spray. I'm in too.

I washed and deep conditioned my hair Wednesday evening. I used Elixir Ultime shampoo for thick hair and Cristalliste mask. I love the way my hair smells after a good DC session.

I took off a couple days of Xcel21 to let my scalp breathe. Now I'm back spraying at night. Next month I will do another Uncurly Keratin treatment and trim my ends.

I will be using a growth oil for a few weeks so that my scalp doesn't get used to Xcel21. My base is grapeseed oil and I added peppermint, rosemary and lavender. I'm looking forward to my next length check and trim. My hair is definitely thicker, but it looks sleeker... basically the frizz is gone, but the texture is still there.

I am doing another Uncurly keratin treatment next month. I wanted to try a different brand, but I will stick to what I know my hair likes.

1. The current state of your crown,
scalp and/or edges.
My crown is fine, and I want to keep it that way. It Is a very dense area, so I need to make sure I'm gentle and that it gets the moisture it needs.
2. What is your plan to restore these areas?
To keep the area lubricated to prevent tangles and knots.
3. What products do you plan on using? I use WGO, as well as my oil blend of tea tree oil, Rosemary, and cedar wood.
4. How often will you check in with us?
Weekly.

I'm not seeing any growth, or added thickness to my hair with the WGO, but it does a great job keeping my crown from getting dry, knotted, and tangled. It really helps soften my new growth in that area.
