2 Inches In 4 Months Challenge - 2016 (session 3 - Sept Through Dec)

Prettymetty

Natural/4b/medium-coarse
I just love my tiny water bottle for misting my hair. It makes coverage so much easier.

I was going to wash today, but I have too many things to do around the house...I'll prepoo, wash and dc Wednesday. That'll be my second time doing a biweekly wash. My hair seems like it grows faster when I leave it alone.

Excuse my pictures. I really didn't feel like taking any

My hair looks like it's pretty much the same length. I think whats happening is my hair is evening out. I also dusted twice during this session. I hope to only dust once during the next session.

These will be my starting pictures for session 2. I'm sure I will notice a difference at the end of session 2.

@faithVA you are collarbone length in the front:yay:

I'll have my pics up soon. I gotta stop being lazy:spank:
My nape is but my nape has been hanging out there for a while  Just waiting for the rest of my hair to catch up which I think it is trying.

Don't be too hard on yourself. I really didn't want to do my hair either but if it wasn't tonight I would have been crying Sunday when I had to do it.

I would like to join, my starting pic is from my March length check.

1. See below
2. Current length: Grazing BSL
3. Regimen: Co-cleanse and dc weekly; wash/clarify monthly; protein every 4-6 weeks(hard protein) light protein weekly from product usage; deep condition with steam or heat weekly. My go to styles are braidouts and bunning.
4. Achieving goal: I am limiting flat ironing this year to only 4 times. Next flat iron session will be August or September. My hair has really improved since doing this and I've grown over 2.5 inches since December. Will continue taking supplements: Hair La Vie, Chlorella, Spirulina, and drinking Beautifully Bamboo Tea and inverting monthly
5. Anything else: I have to remember patience is key. I have hairnorexia and sometimes it's hard for me to see progress.

Mine too @Prettymetty :yep:.

I just massaged some hairdrenalin potion on my scalp for about 5 minutes tonight. I won't be inverting until tomorrow.

Well, I just had a super fun hair day. I did my first, well actually it's my second, wet trim. The first time turned into a second big chop, but this time I can say it was definitely a trim. I really love how my hair, particularly my ends, came out. They are so much thicker and bouncier. Not a rough end to be found.

I cut both the ends of the curl (Curly Girl Method) and blunt across the bottom.

I'm pretty sure I got the 1.5 inches from this first portion of the challenge. I think I cut back to right above TBL, but I need to find better markers then these belts I have. Has anyone seen a long length check shirt? And my apologies on the rolls.

Your hair is doing so well!!! The front of your hair is getting long. When I trimmed last time I actually cut my bangs because I didn't want it to look thin since I was having issues with my crown. If I can get my front back to your length I would be really happy!

I measured and I've gained between half an inch to 1 inch. Not much but I'll take it. My hair is feeling fuller. The pic pic on the left is from 2nd Jan. Pic on the right is from 30th May. Not a like for like comparison.

It's definitely hanging longer. The top you have up in the 2nd picture and it's hanging as low as the loose hair in the 1st picture.

That's funny because I don't feel like the front is growing at all. It seems like its at my lip like it has been forever. I guess that's why it's good to take pics and share. People see what you don't.
