Initial Hits/First Use Hits:

Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Masque & Shea Moisture Mongongo High Porosity Masque
Since I was itching to sample the various Shea Moisture DCs I’d picked up during a sale a few months ago, I applied the Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Masque to the right side of my head and the High Porosity Masque to the left. The High Po DC has a thick, creamy, slippery consistency that closely resembles a Naturelle Grow conditioner; so it applied very smoothly and easily, and didn't take much to fully saturate. OTOH, the Manuka was thicker, denser and more difficult to apply; it also clumped my hair together somewhat stiffly along the strands. I was able to glide the comb through the High Po side very easily, and even though my hair was sticking together, the Manuka did allow me to detangle with some effort.

I didn’t use heat while DCing because I wanted to gauge the efficacy of these conditioners without assistance or some sort of a performance boost. I also DC’ed for only an hour because I wanted to see how they would perform without extended conditioning. Upon rinsing, both sides felt silky soft and moisturized. However, the High Po side had a bit more silky softness with the added bonus of making my strands feel emollient. Still, I had to rinse both conditioners for a long time because the softness they produced gave the impression that I still had product in my hair. After squeezing the excess water from my hair, both sides felt smooth and while looking shiny. These are the first SM products I’ve tried since that nasty Curl Enhancing Smoothie a couple of years ago. The verdict: I like them both!

Shescentit Baobab Fluffy Curls Leave-In Conditioner
This product has a thin, creamy consistency that is very similar to the Coco Cream LI except that it’s a tad thicker (it kind of resembles APB's Simple HC). This applied very well and made my hair feel soft, silky, smooth and moisturized. It also offered a decent amount of slip. Also similar to the Coco Cream, it doesn’t provide long-lasting moisture. As a result, this would be a great product to use before straightening because it softens and smooths the hair without weighing it down. This is a nice product and I plan on enjoying every bit of it until its gone, but won't a repurchase it.

Hit:
Curl Junkie Daily Fix. I use to side eye lines like this back when I was cheap(er) but this is the best cleansing conditioner I've ever used. I never liked co washing before using this product. It's been 2 or 3 months now and it hasn't failed me yet. It gives me clean and moisturized hair every single time. I'd buy the liter bottle, but Curl Junkie charges tax in nyc so curlmart it is!

I've mentioned this one before but honestly it deserves to be in my hits every month.
Oyin Hair Dew: I've been using this since October. I swear no matter what leave ins I buy, I always come crawling back to this one, it's the #1 product in my stash. I honestly don't know what I'd do if they ever decided to change the formula.

Joico Professional hair color. I used the natural black color and it look good unlike Goldwell and other brands that tend to look flat and too dark more like vampy.

I'm a licensed cosmetologist and this is my go to brand for hair color. Even though I m creating my own line I would highly recommend this line to others.

I'm still loving Joico Kpak intense hydrator and moisture recovery.

Organic Jojobal oil I haven't used it in a long time and decided to revisit it for various purposes.

Condition Me Softly (as a R/O) and some of the other things that have since been renamed.

I currently have:
Moisture Cream
*more Condition Me Softly
Green Tea DC'er
Amla & Avocado

Packaging, Fill-Rate CS is on point.

Thanks T! I want that moisture cream or the macadamia cream. I guess I will add that to the list to try with Simese twists. Between the two lines, whose butters do you prefer?

Hit: Clay washing
The last time I clay washed I was transitioning and used bentonite clay and water, which I found to be a little drying. This time around I used Rhassoul clay, marshmallow root & slippery elm tea, and AVJ. My curls POPPED! I've got definition and springiness as if I used a denman brush. I need to adjust the clay mix some, but clay washing is clearly a hit.

....

Miss: Clay washing extremely tangled hair
This is a miss I should've seen coming. Though my clay wash had a little slip, it wasn't enough to detangle my hair easily. I used every drop of the 16oz of clay wash I made to get my curls untangled.

Today I made sure my hair was thoroughly detangled before clay washing and the process was so much faster and easier.

@AgeinATL Very nice. A nice Whipped Butter. Butters in both lines are exceptionally nice.

Siamese Twists was my HG go-to butter this past winter. Very similar in consistencies. Both are very nicely lightly whipped.

Wait for a decent Sale for both.

My hair needs to get a job. It ALWAYS likes this arm and leg $$$$ stuff.

So, my potential hits today:

Ouidad Ultra Cleansing Oil - this was a recommend from another board. It's pretty unassuming as a shampoo but I was pretty darn impressed when I rinsed my hair and it looked as if I had already conditioned and was waiting to add a leave in. First time use too.

This stuff ain't cheap, so I'm considering setting up a GoFundMe alongside the guy with the Henny GoFundMe for the weekend. Lol

Ouidad Melt Down Conditioner - Glides on nicely.

One more product to love

Ouidad Curls Hydroquench Curl Cream - I liked the soft lemony citrus scent. It was light and had a little slip. Perfect for curls without the thick, weigh down product. My curls are a popping.

I'm crying tears for my poor wallet. I still have another box of their products to try out too.

Yes, that cleansing oil is stellar. Just high as all get out. You only need a tiny bit though.
