Well, my ultimate goal is between sl and bsl. As you can see by my pic, I have a long way to go. Im still kind of tweeking my regime. Right now im co-washing and DCing 1-2x a week. I can only do an afro or put hair in a headband. Im not taking vitamins. Im using V05 conditioner, Creme of Nature (favorite), care free curl gold, glycerin, hollywood beauty olive creme (all make my hair soft).

My ultimate goal is to be Midback by this December 08'. I am currently full Apl and 2 inches from Bsl.

Hair Regimen:
*I relax every 12 weeks and I wash my hair 1x a week but by week 10 my newgrowth gets outta control so I have to wash 2x a week
*I do low manipulation so I comb once a week but I finger comb everyday while I moisturize and seal
*I use the whole NTM line except for my UBH moisturizer and Hollywood beauty Olive Oil
* I also deep condition 1x a week and use a protein treatment 1x a month
*I also use direct heat every other month maybe 4 or 5 times a year or just not at all....my hair has dramatically increased in health once I did this!

Vitamins:
*I don't take vitamins

Protective styles:
*To tell the truth right now for about a month and a half I haven't been using protective styles and my ends have suffered...:nono:...I'm now steppin up my game and I'm wearing a bun as we speak.
*I also rollerset for curls and pin them together in the middle for a mohawk...very cute
* But um my main styles are buns, mohawks, high ponytails, braidouts, twistouts, and half-up half down styles

Products:
*I use the NTM line exclusively because it has made my hair so soft and managable
*Non-NTM products I use are...Hollywood Beauty Olive Oil, UBH moisturizer, and UBH deep conditioner

My goal is natural BSL. I have been transitioning since the date in my siggy. My focus is 'prefecting' my simple reggie:

My goal was BSL unstretched...but now I kind of want MBL unstretched or something in between the two. I definitely don't want longer than MBL, though.

-Hair regimen:
I wash every 3 days with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa
Detangle with a wide tooth comb every time I cowash
Moisturize with Hemp Seed Butter
NO Heat

-vitimans:

My current goal is BSL but I have a feeling that once I get there I will probably want to go longer

Oh and you left APL out of the poll...not sure if its too late to change it.

My ultimate goal is full Bsl or maybe Mdl, I am not sure we will see when I hit Bsl.

I prepoo everytime before I wash, which is like about every week.
Rollerset and then a where a bun untill next wash day.
In the summer I co wash about every 3 days.

Protective Styles: Just a bun or I put my hair in a clip

Products:
Aphogee 2 min with oi(prepoo)

My ultimate hair length goal is MBL and I hope to be there by december of this year :yep:. Right now I'm on my way to BSL hopefully I'll be there by May no later than July!:yep:

I truly believe my absolute ultimate length is MBL. I used to think BSL would do it and now that I'm about 3 inches away, I think MBL will seal the deal for me and give me tons of styling options. So now, how am I getting there?

Hair regimen:

I am Ayurvedic almost completely since nothing gives me results like Amla and Shikakai. I love Coconut oil and my new love is its companion, Castor Oil for sealing. Daily moisture by way of ORS Carrot Oil and S-curl does it for me keeping me moisturized all day long. I pre-poo, tea rinse and deep cond weekly. I'm a full-time student, but I want to make time for a co-wash at least once in the week. I deep condition either with CON purple label, ORS replenishing cond, or a new one I like Organix Coconut Milk condish.

-Vitamins:

I have a liquid multi-vitamin, but I'm not consistent with it. I take it when I remember.

-protective styles:

I mostly do buns, rollersets, curled pony tails and have recently done some braidouts that are cool. But I really want to rock my braidouts when Spring hits. Sometimes when I rollerset I do updos and try to keep it cute.

-products:

Amla and Shikakai powder tea rinses
Shikakai hair soap
CON conditioner and (shampoo rarely)
ORS Replenishing cond
Organix coconut milk conditioner
Coconut Oil
Castor Oil
ORS Carrot Oil
S-curl

Protein: ORS Hair Mayo, Lekair Cholesterol

I think that's it, I've found my staples in moisture, conditioners, and tea rinses.

I chose MBL/BSL somewhere between the two of those. But to be honest, I am already at the longest lenght of my life, so anything more is gravy.

-Hair regimen:
  • Co wash with Suave coconut mixed with ACV and baking soda
  • Weekly deep conditioning treatments
  • Moisturize with Proline comb thru (switching to Curl Activator Gel)
  • Seal with castor oil
  • I am adding the shikakai/aritha bars and henna to cover my grey

-vitimans:
  • Busted - I need to take mine more regularly. I take GNC women's utlra mega pak. It has a multi, HSN, omega 3, digestive helper, etc.

-protective styles:
  • Usually I wear mini braids for about 2 months at a time.
  • Lately, I've been wearing a press out and really trimming the knots and splits on my ends.

-products:

  • Castor oil
  • Pro Line Comb thru Moisturizer
  • Pro Line curl activator gel
  • Suave Coconut conditioner
  • Organics Hair Mayo
  • Aura Cherry Almond Bark conditioner
  • Parnevue Tea Tree Leave in conditioner
  • Aritha/Shikakia shampoo bars
  • Henna

I am  for thick APL. I dont think i wuld want it longer than that.

-Hair regimen:
moisturize and seal daily
DC every week
masage scalp every night
eat well and exercise regularly

-vitimans:
Just a multi and flax see doil
-protective styles:
I wear an updo pratically every day because my ends are too thin
-products:
Um wave nouveau moisturizer and castor oil to seal,

My goal is MBL
-Hair regimen: K.I.S.S. Wash, DC with every wash, moisturize and seal.
-vitimans: GNC Women's Ultramega (when I can remember to take them)

-protective styles: Buns, updos, rollersets
-products: CON poo- green label, ORS OO (in the jar), castor oil <--my staples. DCs I'm currently trying out are: Kera Care Humecto, Elasta Q DPR 11 (the name is something like that), Queen Helene, and ORS Mayo. I'm trying to figure out a staple.

I voted MBL. I think that will be enough for me to handle.

-Hair regimen: I wash my hair once a week and clarify once a month. I deep condition once a week and CW 6 out of 7 days. I moisturize hair and scalp daily.

-vitimans: I take multivitamin, iron, Vit. C., B vitamins, Zinc and Omega 3,6,9.

-protective styles: bun most times. Braid at night with scarf.

-products: Elucence MB, Aveda DR, Fantasia IC Hair Serum, VICL(Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion) Trader Joes Conditioner, Dove Intensive Moisture Spray, Oyinhandmade Burnt Sugar Pomade (will never give this up.....)

My goal is to be a healthy BSL stretched. Unstretched as long as it's thick healthy and beautiful i'm cool. :)

Hair regimen: i co wash everyday.. and wash the last day of every month
-vitimans: whenever I remeber to take it... iron, multivitamin, and flax seed pills
-protective styles: ponytail.. my hair never touches my collar, it's a little puff
-products: Giovanni products, aubrey organics conditioners , and avalon organics conditioners

Hair regimen: I do a 2 month cycle of low mani hair care - one henna, one protien treatment, and two DC's in the cycle, and my hair is detangled four times a cycle.
-vitimans: a multivitamin, and Omega 3/6/9
-protective styles: two strand twists, flat twists, updos
-products: I'm a kitchen beautician, so most of my products are homemade. I'm still buying Ayurvedic herbs & oils, and still on my Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Conditioner

I'm shooting for tail bone length... :crossfingers:

ETA.
Hair Regimen
  • Wash and condition two-three times a week, follow up with carrot oil and avocado butter
  • Detangle with conditioner in hair, use fingers only (no comb or brush)
  • Air dry
  • No heat, few chemicals (gotta dye my greys every now and then :D )
  • Keep it simple, basic, gentle...
Vitamins
  • Daily multi-vitamin
Protective Styles
  • I hope I find a more exiting style than my daily ponytail, help!
Products
  • The usual...conditioner (Sunsilk for dry hair) and avocado butter, any moisturizing shampoo and a little carrot oil cream

Full WL is my ultimate goal. Anything more would be to much hair for me.

Attached please find my goal for the summer.

Currently, I'm past brastrap. I don't know how full my hair looks or anything b/c I haven't blown out the roots all winter. I need about an inch or so trimmed IMO.

Regimen: Wash every other day to every three days. :yep: I'm alternating btwn
1) prepooing w/Amla oil and then using an ayurvedic tea rinse followed by a conditioner like Alter Ego's Energizing conditioner or like Suave's clarifying conditioner. Then, rollerset and air dry.
2) conditioner only washes. Rollerset & airdry.
and
3)shampoo, deep condition (either protein or moisturizing). Rollerset & airdry.

Vitamins:
Biotin
Fish Oil
Flax seed oil
MSM

Protective Styles:
Rollersetting is not a style but the end results are quite protective against split ends for some reason.
I usually pin my hair up or wear it in a bun. Every once in a while I will take the rollers out and put a headband on w/o blowing out the roots.

Products:
All the products mentioned in my regimen. Plus, Salerm 21 leave-in conditioner, Salerm Wheat Germ conditioner, Hask's henna and placenta, Aphogee's Treatment for Damaged hair, Nexxus Aloe Rid, Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, Shikakai shampoo bar... ummm I think that's it.
