Great Lengths 2009 6 Month Challenge

I refuse to let a great challenge die, so here it is, back again! This challenge is open to everyone and is much like bootcamp, I like to call it Bootcamp Platinum Level. I'm late starting this chllenge, sorry, but none the less, here are the rules:

Challenge Runs from January 5 2009-June 30, 2009


Rules:
  1. ABSOLUTELY NO HEAT!!! (hood dryers OK):eek:
  2. ***Since some of us may not be able to pull our hair into a bun or pony just yet, baggying and co washing are optional.***
  3. At least 9-12 week relaxer stretches (YOU CAN DO IT!):lol:
  4. Weekly pre-poos and shampoos (This can be done bi-weekly if you are doing the co-wash method.)
  5. Weekly deep condition (moisture or protein depending on what your hair needs from week to week)
  6. At least once a day moisture and oil treatments
  7. At least two vitamin supplements per day
  8. 8-10 glassses of water per day (it's good for more than just your hair)
  9. Combing no more than twice per day (roller setting, wrapping, or flex rod setting will make this possible):perplexed
  10. 30 minutes of exercise at least 3 times per week (yes, walking counts, but working up a good sweat is even better!):D

I'm in, even though I do most of these things already. But, I'm trying to start wearing my hair down more often (twice a year to once a week).

:grin: i'm in Mcrzygr!!! I'm about too be looking too fine in 09. LHCF is beauty crack. I really do believe that how I look is directly linked to how I feel and pretty much everything I do. This challenge sounds great because it's really comprehensive. It's more of a total body challenge so I think this will be my main challenge this year. Committing 6 months to get a hotter me in the end?

I'm down. M boyfriend will be stoked too.:yep:

I started weight lifting again (did it 2 times this week and will be doing it on Saturday morning) I've gotten back into drinking my required amount of water, and I hope to be somewhere near APL by the end of June.

Exactly, if I'm gonna have bangin hair I might as well have a bangin body to go with it:yep:

Might as well sign me up too.
I'm always complaining about my hair not growing fast enough for me, its time I do something about it.
This whole water thing is going to be tough!

this is perfect, i jus relaxed 2 days ago, i usually retouch at 8 wks but will push to 9wks for this. I hope to be BSL at the end of this. ill update my avatar/siggy to my starting pic....

So, what exercise are you ladies doing?

Did an hour of aerobics to my favourite music: calypso:grin:. I mix that up with running or walking. Depends on my mood on the day in question.
