I, jesusislove1526, am going to commit to 4 sessions of LHCF Bootcamp. My consequence for violating Bootcamp Rules will be no sweets for 2 weeks. I am excited to see the hair progress I will make by participating in this challenge!!

This is wonderful, because I do these things already. Besides a possible blowout in May for my 2nd curlyversary, and an annual flat ironing during Thanksgiving or Christmas, my hair will be in mini braids for all of 2013. I will keep them in for 5-6 weeks at a time.

I will post my starting pics on December 31st. My annual flat iron for this year will be during the Christmas holidays, so my hair will be straight for the beginning pictures, but I may post a beginning set of mini braids pictures as well. I will be putting in my first set for 2013 no later than January 12.
Starting pictures are in my signature.

Hey ladies!!!!

Im checking in. I started my workout on Sunday as I hate starting things int he middle of the week. I started at 260 and now I am down to 255.5 and that is with a little gain in there from some sugary goodness. I have been taking my vitamins 2x a day and walking roughly 4 miles each day.

Toodles ladies!!!

Yesterday was a major wash day for me. After treating my hair to a spa day I have but little plaits in and will be in hiding until further notice. I tried to workout but its hard to do with an 8 month old. I did do a mini walk but will try to get my workout in today and I have some walking planned for Friday.

Good for you. A healthy body equals healthy hair (most of the time :ohwell:), except if you are taking care of your body and abusing your hair. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Ok, trying to keep up my roller set, I pin curled last night. The results were not so good (see attached), OLD LADY DO.

2 Notes to Self- Make the pin curls bigger AND any experimentation should be done on the weekend, not on a work night. Now I have to dick and dodge people all day. I look a steaming hot mess.

Hello! I co washed with aphogee 2 minute, washed it out with SD whip my hair and Claudie's 3 in 1. The 3 in 1 smelled great. Oil rinsed with GSO. Used MD Coffee Kokum Deep Conditioner, again GSO on top. 1/2 hour under heat cap. rinsed, claudie's tea spritz to hair. MN mix and JBCO to scalp. Darcy's peppermint spritz to hair and scalp. Claudie's quinoa cream to length and Balancing ends to ends. Went to bed. Whew!!

The pin curls look cute from this angle however when you're not feeling it, you're not. You have me chuckle though about dodging peops...too funny. Totally understand. I bet people didn't even see what you saw.

I am going to commit to _2 (likely 4) sessions of LHCF Bootcamp. My consequence for violating Bootcamp Rules will be _extra weekly cardio_. I am excited to see the hair progress I will make by participating in this challenge!!

Ok, so I thought that I had posted my most recent length check photo, but I haven't so I'll do that from my phone right after this post.

I've been wigging it this week and between the ends cover I use on my French braid and my wig cap, but hair is holding moisture wonderfully so I only need to m & s every 2 or so. My newgrowth is staying moisturized and soft and I need that at 10 weeks post tomorrow.

I have gotten in 2 workouts and my 3rd to come tomorrow. Next week will be much better since my kiddos will be with their father. Here we go, great start at 4 days into the new year and tomorrow is my birthday!!! Whoo hoo!!!

I'm in! But I'm due for a trim when I remove my braids but after that I'll hide my scissors. I've been lazy during 2012, now I'm more than ready!!!!

Used my emergency pass to give myself a much needed trim. My curlformers made it a lot easier to take off 1in on each curl(76 of them). I'll trim that way in the (far) future.

I got box braids (twists) at the beginning of the year, and i plan to keep them in for 8 weeks. I use dark&lovely moisturizer to spray daily, and my hair is soft at take-down. At least, that used to be true, last time i did this was three years ago, hope it still works the same way.

If it's not too late to join, I'm in for all 4 sessions. My punishment will be no tv or computer for a week.

I shampooed, lathered twice. Detangled using HE Honey I'm Strong, did a mini deep conditioning with a mix of Silicon Mix Bambu, Organicals Hair Mayo, and some Eden Bodyworks Monoi/Jojoba deep conditioner with a touch of that Curls oil...mixed it all up, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes while i showered.

My hair feels lush!!:lick:
